going to do a swap on my car .... got the block ,belts have been changed .if it has been sitting for a while what seals are the important ones to deffinatly replace.... just curious weather or not to go all out ....

IS A RB 20 DET SAFE TO BE BOOSTED TO OVER 25 POUND... ?

I have a RB20 det.. i am thinking of replacing a few parts ... turbo for one and a few other goodies... has anyone any ideas ... i drive the car every day . and every thing on the car is stock other than a BOV.... cheers......

I think DB334 hit it on the head... just waiting for greg at autosport to get back to me bout it .... He has her at the moment .. hopfully it is just the turbs blown out cause of the oil level.. Fingers crossed.... Cheers guys for your input .. starting to understand the way these things work.. Have a good one.....

what do you suggest grab a 33 turbs for her and flush all pipe work with juice.... would that make her run on 5 cylinders but mate....?

NO black smoke no white smoke no smoke at all just a crook running Rb20.... i may have overfilled my fresh oil.... could this add to the problem....? the car has never given me any probs never done anythin out of ordinary with just the usual .. drive to work and back ...... I put the two breather pipes off the rocker cover into a coke can and drove it .... no oil in that .. still oil out of BOV though...

PCV Valve ...??? sorry mate what is it .. first turbs i have owned sorta new terminolligy to me .....

would the turbo spit the oil both ways..? and also through the manifold into the first cylinder....?

g day, this is the first time doin this so excuse the slowness. but i guess slowness is something in my car as well .. Iown a R32 GTSt. dropped a fairly new donk in ... 65,000 a year ago ... done a few thousand and serviced it more than regular... prob every 3000 to 4000. New filter and motul 4100... i just noticed that it started to get really lumpy on idle and i instantly thought fouled plug or dirty AFM... but just as i pulled into my work i got a sudden smell of oil cooking.... popped the hood and oil has blown out of my BOV and also has blown up the intake nearly reaching the AFM.. my first thought was that the seal in the turbo was shot or maybe the whole turbs unit needs replacing....... any one with any thought on what it could be......cheers.
