  1. Mate i'm throwing you a PM now... Cheers.
  2. 19 and feeling like I'm growing up wayy to quick!
  3. Also Mister Minit (key cutting franchise) have a compatible key (their product code is NIS1) and it works a treat.
  4. For 34's mister minit (a popular key cutter with heaps of franchises located around aus) stock a key which works fine. Also barrel length shouldn't be a problem providing the replicated key's barrel is longer and not shorter.
  5. Oooo clear side indicators for sale you say! Im interested.... How much you want? My first offer, 5 litres of petrol If you hold onto the petrol for a year it'll be worth 10 times what is it now... good investment but on a serious note, pm me with how much your after
  6. I know this is an older thread but i thought i'd add my insurance experience: 19y.o. male (so yes... i have the 'amazing' looking green p's), no accidents/points lost, r3425gt coupe, initially $1750 full comp with just car, down to $1042 after bumping up the excess to the highest possible. and btw... there's nothing wrong with an na r34... plenty of punch for driving legally Hope this helps...
  7. Ah Work rims... if only i had the cash for some of those! nah they're actually the lenso samurai's... they're light weight which is always good but they're only 7.5 inch wide... not a big deal in my case as i dont hammer the car at all.
  8. Here's some pics of my n/a 34..... i've been gettin mixed opinions on if i should lower it... any thoughts?
  9. Got any pics of these on your car? also what's the part number? oh and would these suit n/a r34's?
  10. resh

    R34s...please!

Thought i'd finally contribute... its only one pic but its a start Apologies for the bad quality, my n82's lens has dust from my pocket all over it.
  11. Are you willing to seperate the skirts and the rear? I just need the rear.... how much are you willing to part with it for?
  12. Got a factory sunroof on my 34... Its a nice touch and i cant see how anyone wouldnt like it! But like everyone else has said if your tall (ie 5' 11" +) then dont bother unless you like having your head tilted to the side when you drive. also lets not forget having a sunroof adds 10kw
  13. Just to add my two cents... I was in the same situation a few months ago when buying my first car.... had a look at plenty of r33's and a few r34's. In the end i went with an r34 for its amazing looks. Make sure you've had a drive of both so you know how they both feel. Thats probably what will sway you in either direction... unless your all about asthetics like myself in which case how could you say no to an r34 Take your time with the decision and dont get one over the other purely because of what other people think... the last thing you want is to see the model you didnt buy driving along next to you and regret your purchase..
  14. B.J. has a good point. I was previously all pioneer but yesterday got myself a JVC KD-AVX11. http://www.ryda.com.au/JVC-KD-AVX11-In-Das...r-p/kdavx11.htm Its a nice unit with good looks and crisp sound. Better yet is the whole having a little dvd player right there in the single din sized unit. Picked mine up for $450 from JB.
  15. hey daniel you still got that rear bar? My r34 which i've owned for all of 2 weeks now (and yes i freakin' love it!) came with nismo front, sides... but no nismo rear If it's still available how much you asking?
  16. I know everyone has probably read that and said to themselves why on earth would you want to do that!? Here's my situation. After wanting an R34 since i was old enough to feed myself the time has come when my hours upon hours of hard work have paid off and i have saved enough to get one. Problem is that, well, i'm on my P's and those lovely restriction laws in victoria mean only n/a skylines for me. After reading extensively through these forums the consensus seems to be that if i buy an n/a skyline i'm going to regret it further down the track. okay enough beating around the bush, basically i want to know if its actually possible/a good idea to get the 25gt-t, rip the turbo out (essentially making it a 25gt) then pop it back 2 years down the track when i'm off my p's and a competent enough driver to handle a 208kw 'line. Also how costly would the whole taking the turbo out procedure be? oh and i appologise in advance if this is a completely stupid question and not actually possible, my knowledge into the mechanics of cars is very limited at best!
  17. Just like Pablo101 Power Rd are the only dealer with r34's in my price range too. Went down there last week and a guy called Jeff was the first to approach me. Unlike Shane, this guy knows exactly how to look after a customer! In about 5 mins of looking at the only R34 25gt there he threw me the keys to let me have a drive (trusting an 18yr old with an R34 within 5 minutes in my opinion was somewhat of a miracle). NO pressure at all to commit and he even bought my girlfriend and myself a powerade! As far as i can tell their cars are pretty good (apparently all grade 4 auction ratings at least), although their yard isnt the most pleasing to the eye. This thread is really coming along since its revival ! Keep the comments coming they're really helpful as i need all the info i can get before i buy my first car (and incidently first 'line )
