yes beening up front with cops is the best way i had 2 encounters with cops in my 33's. First time they where leanate which i was pretty happy about i didnt get a fine for the defects which was good, and i was very poilite ect as always to the cops. The 2nd time howevere there epa where envolved and i swear there the worst people on earth to deal with no madder how nice or polite and trying to do the right thing the will screw you over to the best of there ability 4 months i tryed to clear a deffect for a hi flow cat which i didnt have fitted but i did have other mods which they could defect which was fair enough but yes they can go both ways, cops arnt to bad usually its the pricks at the epa you have to watch out for.

hey mate there are acouple of skylines on the raaf base there is a r32 gtr acouple of r33 gtst's and a r34 i am only abit over a hour away in albury

yeah thanks mate i got the stock gear bar the exhuast which i am just going to fitt a another muffler to bring the noise down. Than i am organising my shit together to get it emissions tested so it will be cleared so they cant hassle me again and i am going to get it all engineered also.

Hey all it seems to that the epa are now beening called into to screw people over with modifyed cars as normal blue slip defects are to easy to pass. I am in quite a predicament. I got done 2 weeks ago in newcastle on a friday night. And i was done for all the usuall shit however i was told that i need a emissions test. Here is where it becomes a pain in the ass i am in the air force currently doing training with the amry in albury and there are only 5 places to clear these defects. My question is should i invest in a power fc to tune to pass the test with my front mount and pod inclosed and the exhuast still attatched therefore i wont be pined again or return it to standard than engineer it afterwards just need some ideas. i never had to deal with the pricks so if anyone has been through this shit please help me out cheers scottie

heya all what a great welcome back to newcastle after spending 3 months in basic training in the raaf i was pulled up and taken to the cop shop where guess who the epa where doing defects the barstads. So yeah i was fined $250 for beening 9 dp over the legal requirements and told to remove my front mount, boost controller, and fitt the standard air box back in. Here is where it becomes intresting. I am leaving for albury tomorow morning to do training with the army, where i have no tools and no storage area to store parts to get these defects cleared and also the closest approved clearing workshop is a 6 hour drive so can anyone help me around albury area with me beening able to borrow a stock side mount, air box and exhuast i will pay for the help but i need to get myself out of the shit. thanks guys also of course last night there where no normal cars blowing blue smoke which is fair more eviromentaly degrading but you get that when there after fund raising for the piss ups.

Famous is very good and there rates are pritty good in comparison to just car my old white r33 gtst was insured for $15000 with a $1000 excess and i was able to pay by the month and the premium was $2600 unlike just car which was $3000 and pay up front with like a $2500 excess and i was 21 and only been fully licened just under 12 months. Now i did write that car off to a simple misjuding traffic and i couldn't have been happier with there service. There first question was i alright and they had the hole thing sorted in a week and half and i had my money.
