  2. interested in the autometer gauges and shift light
  3. does anyone know whether the O2 sensor is a wideband or narrow band? i want to put a air fuel ratio gauge on my GTR cheers,
  4. $150 ONO come on people, theyre pretty decent tires
  5. yes it gets rid of most of it. you will hear a little noise, but definitely not a WOOSH noise on boost. i went from air box to pods, i initially liked it and so did everyone that i took in the car. but after a while i got sick of it, and mainly sick of explaining to the police that it isnt illegal. so i returned it to stock. still is producing same power, it just doesnt go woosh then psssh anymore. 6. hey guys, clearing out the shed, 4 x Bridgestone Potenza RE010R 235/40R17 they are down to the wear indicators but could still be used on a track car for a bit of fun. 2 x Marshall 255/40R17 these have approximately 70% tread left they are good tires, was using them on my GTR and they were pretty grippy. looking for $200 for the lot (NOT incl. postage) its a pretty decent price considering that the Marshall's cost me $250 brand new. located in Adelaide, will post pics up tomorrow as i have forgotten my camera. Call or PM me Ph: 0421 125 183
  7. update: wheels are still for sale the measurements are actually FRONT: 17in x 9in(wide) +22 offset REAR: 17in x 10in (wide) +39 offset there are no tyres on them, but i do still have those Marshall 255/40 R17's cheers, they're a good looking rim, and they should fit a GTS-t
  8. the GTR handles so much better! i got Toyo R1R's 235/45 R17's all round and the car really holds on around corners, and with the same width up the front as the rear there is less understeer which is great. now i can really give it to it coming out of a corner. cheers guys for your advise
  9. i finally bought some Rays 17x9 all round, so now i can finally run all the same width all round. and enjoy the luxury of changing tyres front to back! cheers guys for your help. will let you know how much different the handling feels. Brezza
  10. Offset is probably +24 then, will have a check this weekend to be 100% sure
  11. From checking what others have posted offsets for the same rims, i think the offset might be Front +12 Rear +18 not 100% sure? but that could give you a rough idea? i'll check them though
  12. Hey i got some Stern 17's for sale. they're off my R32 GTR they fit perfectly with no spacers. the fronts are 8in wide and rear 9 in wide. in my opinion they suit the skyline very well. asking $500 + postage for just the bare rims or $700 + postage and i'll include 2x Marshall 255/40 R17 with estimated 75% tread for the rear rims, the rims will not come with front tyres. PM me if interested Cheers, Brezza http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/po...33-IMG-1242.JPG

  14. hey mate, could you post up some pics of all 4 rims? mainly interested in the gutter rash. do the rims have any buckles or dents? cheers, Brezza
  15. nah, the pods werent factory oiled, they were dry. the recirc pipe does attach itself between the AFM and turbo. but when the BOV releases the pressure you can hear the air come out through the pods. i was thinking that since the air passes through the BOV, then recirc pipe, through the AFM then out the pod to make a Pshh noise then maybe some oil or residue would pass through aswell. anyone else experienced the same?
  16. hey guys, just changed over my Trust Airnix (sand sucker) pods for the stock air box with a K&N filter, and i noticed on the inside of the pod there was heaps of black grime/oil? i didnt oil the pods, i just ran them dry. yes i know, not a good idea. so i changed back to something that will filter better, as i had blown my turbos then spun a bearing. so with a rebuild bottom end with forgies and -5's. gonna try and make sure i keep the GTR healthy. so has anyone else experienced what i am describing? i am just wanting to know if i should be worried where the oily residue is coming from? it definitely isnt coming from outside the filter cos its pretty clean in comparison to the inside. could it be some oil from the recirc pipe from the Stock BOV?? i did have the pods on with the old turbos and std engine, plus the old filter i had before i changed to the pods was covered in this oily residue? cheers, Brezza
  17. apparently its normal for the air box not to close properly. my mechanic told me that he has to trim back some of the rubber so it seals properly. i have heard the same thing from 2 respected mechanics who know their way around GTR's so i am not going to worry too much. gotta love the change in note when changing from pods to stock air box. i love the deep roar now opposed to the pshhh noise from the old FOAM pods! go the stock engine bay!!!
  18. hey guys, i was wondering whether anyone else is having issues with getting the filter box to close properly with a K&N pannel filter in there? the mechanic told me that they are a little thicker than stock ones that is why i cannot get all 4 clips on, i can only get 3 on. its on a R32 GTR btw. i find it was really hard getting the filter in there as the top lid doesnt open very much and there is only just enough room to slide the filter in with a bit of force. anyone have any helpful suggestions? Brezza
  19. i wouldnt worry about it mate. unless its got a hole, or has put a large pinch in the pipe, which i doubt it has. i remember on my WRX the dump pipe was dented badly and it restricted flow. i went to the exhaust shop and got them to cut the dented piece out and replace it with a proper mandrel bend. made a difference to power. but the little dings dont make much difference if any.
  20. Hi Guys, selling a cold air box to suit a R32 GTR brand new, never used. decided to put the stock air box back on. it is exactly like this one http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=381&page=1 $100 + postage. Located in Adelaide Brezza
