my racing and painting days are over for 2008 with compliments to a rather sharp piece of galvanized steel i am down 3 fingers on my left hand - good news is that the are being stuck back on the end of my hand as we speak, and fingers crossed (pardon the pun) i will be able to start using my hand again early in the new year now i realise that this topic may only be interesting to a very very select few of you, but those who are into that kind of thing, i have some pics of the damage have a good weekend all - Mitcho

there is no point in anyone fitting an 040 into a GTR unless the original pump is stuffed as they are practically almost the same. this is not recommended as an upgrade, save a few more $$ an get an 044 and external tank if you are wanting to updrade your fuel system in a GTR.

i dont think the price is that bad..RB25 power fc's have been discontinued for a long time and hard to come buy - if for some reason i had an rb25 id be buying it right now good luck with sale dude

just had a desent mechanic from another city look at my car [GTR] as the launceston mechanics fail in all aspects regarding imports compression in cylinders 2,3,4 & 6=150psi cylinder 5 =125psi and cylinder 1 is an outstanding 25psi so please correct me if i am wrong but i believe what i should now be doing is replacing my pistons.? if this is correct ill be looking into getting arias pistons for it as the end goal for me is a 600hp track car. any other recomendations on piston choice or direction from here.? thanks guys
