  1. Hello, I have an HKS GT3037S turbo and wastegate that I may sell, depending upon which car I get next. Just wondering if anyone out there is interested? Not sure what price at the moment. Specs are as follows: HKS GT3037S Turbo with 56T trim 0.6 A/R Compressor Housing 0.73 Exhaust Housing HKS External Wastegate (50mm I think) Cheers!
  2. Nice! Just a question, is it the R35 or V35? I thought someone said it was the V35 seeing that the engine is now a bent 6 not a straight 6? Anyone correct or support me? I personally think the 350Z looks way better than the V/R35. I guess the R34 would be the last of the real Skylines (?).
  3. Shouldn't you be using 98RON (or premium) fuel all the time Hiep? I guess it doesn't matter too much unless you're thrashing the car around. Do people always use premium, or regular as well? I thought it only detects the level of fuel.
  4. Thanks Steve. I guess I am probably thinking how fast a 300rwkw r32 GTR is gonna go? I'd expect mid-11secs? I used to have the 3037S on my 2L and it was fairly laggy in that not much boost was made until after 3500rpm. I guess a 2.6L could probably make boost around 3000rpm with a 3037S? I'm tossing up between buying a 180 or 1989 r32 GTR. I want to use the 3037S in it, but I don't want it to be too laggy. But then again I also want to get into drifting and I've heard that 180s are much better. I heard that the r32 GTR is too heavy to drift.
  5. Yeah I thought an RB25 would be nice too, seeing that it's fairly cheaper than the RB26. But didn't you just say earlier that the RB25 is actually more difficult to fit than the RB26? Why is that? To anyone with an RB26 engine, I was wondering what kind of turbos do they use? Twins or Single? I have an HKS GT3037S turbo and was wondering if that's a little too small for the RB26? I know most people when they do an engine conversion they usually stick on a larger turbo like a T78 or something. Is the 3037S too small for a GTR? Expected power from a GT3037S?
  6. I reckon an EJ20 (wrx) engine would be sweet in an s15. Yeah it's the same displacement, and yeah the SR20 is probably better than the EJ20, but nothing beats the sound of a boxer engine
  7. Well, another thing that's good about the skyline engine is that it provides more low down torque because of the bigger displacement. Also, you can fit a larger turbo on it and it won't be no where near as laggy as a 2L SR20. But really, it's gonna cost so much to buy and install an RB26 in an s15. I really don't think it's worth it unless you have loads of cash to blow. Nonetheless, an RB26 s15 would fly! How many people have skyline engines in an s15? And why did they do it?
  8. I really don't think it's worth the money unless you're chasing for a 1000hp s15. I think the conversion will be around AUS$8000+ at least. For that money you can do a whole lot of stuff like forged internals, larger turbo & more boost.
  9. Sorry, I have been real busy all weekend and have not had the chance to borrow a digital camera to take pics. Will do so very soon I also forgot to mention that I will most probably sell the car with the 2 GReddy gauges, and the GReddy Profec B boost controller. I also just bought a new Pioneer DEH5550MP CD Player that I still haven't installed.
