  1. Need a number of an auto assesor so they can value my car and its modifications which may give me a small chance of preventing my car being a financial write off, don't need any more opinions on how i am being roayally screwed by something someone else did
  2. NRMA, so is my green slip (wont be if it is writen off)
  3. how bad is the engine bay?
  4. Had an accident, repairs just exceed market value of the standard version of my car (3 panel beaters have told me this) other driver was at fualt and i'm trying to avoid his insurance company writing it off. I'm uninsured (was waiting until i turned 25 in feb) and the car has had quite a few modifications done within P plate restrictions (no more P plates come november) anyways need a number to call, know anyone?
  5. High Compression 11.8-1 some people would be interested to buy skylines to turbo them, 11.8:1 is probably the issue your having
  6. flywheel brand new still in box and wrapping picture of another rb lightweight flywheel $350 want it gone
  7. ill also add, lighten a RB crank by knife edging only other wise it effects the throw of the crank, and make sure its nitrided afterwards
  8. the big end journals vary* (slight typo)
  9. all rb series have the same main journals, the main journals vary to make a rb30 bottom end reliable ARP main stud kit H beam rods (usually the good ones come with ARP bolts) Balance and weight match all conrods (some call it blue printing) other then that they are pretty strong rb30 cranks already have been nitrided from factory, which the hardness coating is 0.010" thick if you do a 10/10 main and big end grind advised to have it re nitrided if your running nitro or methanol or both get the piston skirts "tough coated"
  10. all rb25's run same size valves, rb26 valve heads are 1mm bigger then the rb25 the rb25's with vvt have an oil return under the intake cam, which fouls with the water jacket in the rb30 which will mix water and oil, dont want to weld it? tap it and lock tite a grub screw in, want to still use vvt or just drain the oil tap the hole in the front there is no other welding needed
  11. Joe Dirt's 1969 dodge charger daytona only 507 made it was originally a grape purple with a 440 magnum v8, the rusty look is all air brushing
  12. also noticed when i ground my rb26 head the first 0.020" was a perfect 2cc then at 0-0.050" was 6cc's and 0.060" was 7.4cc also skit_r31 a motor of any sort doesnt rely on just the compression or the cams for power it relies on everything working together plus re reading what you posted are you having a conversation with yourself within your post?
  13. cams sold and posted messaging about flywheel
  14. bump again, someone must want these and not just ask questions
  15. Alot of questions but not alot of buyers; answers to the most common are below Cams are ground using a master cam, a master cam is like a mold or a die or a guide what ever you want to call it, hks tomeii camtech crow cams all use the same master cam for this profile, one of them or an independant cam grinder designed the cam and sold a copy of the master cam to the others Performance doesnt soley rely on turbos or cams etc it works as a complete motor to work as a solid unit to gain the most power and life out of all parts Power range is estimated at 3000-8500+ (depending on supporting modificiations) power rev range will change with adjustable cam gears I bought these for $750 never used, decided I wanted something a little bigger As the cams will alter the air fuel ratio yes you will need to remap your computer For a bit extra I can supply valve springs Flywheel has never been used, weighs 5.5kg, never been fitted to a car usually sell for $430ish No stupid low ball offers, im already loosing money on these
  16. RB20/25/30 Xtreme chrome moly flywheel brand new $350 RB26 cams brand new, 10.8mm lift x 280 duration intake and exhaust $600ono located in sydney, I am willing to post
  17. after market cams; would the hydrualic lifters withold the extra kick? if its solid lifters clearances right? would the cam lobes foul on the cylinder head? do the valve springs have enough lift and tension in them? would your piston rings be able to withstand the extra power even if it is the slightest? every new cam profile creates different characteristics of the motor and as the cam allows fuel/air in and exhaust gasses out, if its running on the stock fuel map it will probably rob you of power until you have it remapped if you want to use after market rb26 cams in a rb25 head, you'd need the solid lifter conversion, also pretty much everything that R34 -_- has said is pretty much right, and yeah cams are designed to start kicking it at a certain rpm, but you can adjust when that happens with adjustable cam gears and a good tune
  18. need these gone, pm me with what price you would be willing to pay for these brand new never used cams
