  7. Spotted a white 33 with sau and jem stickers down south coast somewhere, we stopped said hi and held uo traffic in the car park lol oops
  8. Its a r33 50mm alloy radiator, not sure of brand, i got the brackets welded on, and it was going just as cheap as a standard 31 radiator so i jumped on it
  9. New radiator painted the front black for the stealth look, the standard clutch fan didn't fit, so i got a set of au falcon twin thermos, had to remove one as the thermo fan motor didn't fit, wired it up to a switch, will organise another thermo fan soon ignitor replaced, and flat battery is charging, but i should be driving it home today
  10. And ignitor shit itself... lol things will stop breaking one day Single piece shaft
  11. Small update; Car was running, noticeable difference in acceleration, after test drive dropped it back so they could wire it up, and the radiator sprung a leak
  12. Still waiting for tailshaft to come back, but hopefully I'll have it by this weekend banned and arrested?
  13. The guys at empire are doing the box stuff, so they should get the credit Lol yeah would love to stop breaking things on it Skidz vidz maybe when the kaaz goes in soon come on the Sau pie run in early march
  14. VLT box in, not much room left between the box and tunnel They just need to slightly lengthen the single piece shaft, wire it up and done Standard r31 manual cross member fitted perfectly slight modification needed in the tunnel to allow for the gear stick to go into the cabin without fouling on the tunnel nearly there
  15. http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=46459 $900 - $1200 http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/ someone on here may have one somewhere http://www.rajabracing.com.au/?page_id=86 (though this may also sit high)
  16. Just sayings its no gtr awd
  17. flywheel before being ground Flywheel after its been ground and ready for balancing flywheel being spun up to check for balancing New cushion button clutch plate and modified pressure plate Blancing Pressure Plate Spinning up pressure plate thats all for now
  18. lol rocker covers
  19. my previous post but in less words
  20. once again never seen a jun stroker crank, which after googling looks like a full counter weighted crank too (bout all i can tell) seen a few normal 26 and N1 26 cranks, 2.8 HKS cranks, fair few nothing special rb30 cranks and nitto 3.2 cranks, would like to see more variety but all depends on our cutomers, plus once the machining is done most the time we rarely hear of any results
  21. the piston wouldnt really vibrate if one side was notched as it is reciprocating (up and down) only, if it was rotating then it might make a difference weight matching to the lightest over all weight is all that is really needed if you do notch the pistons then dont forget to debur them though i more think that getting the right pistons is the right way to do things from the start, if not then this way should be plan b hey luke do you know if it alters the angle or the spot the oil squirt hits?
  22. as r31nismoid said unless there is back to back comparission the only differences would be price, i still am yet to personally see an rb34 spool kit, seen plenty of nitto r32 (probably as nitto is local in sydney and spool is qld i think) though the customers have said they bought the 90mm stroke as they think the 95mm stroke would be an over stroke for their application, which is along the lines of what r33_racer was saying, all depends on what the motor is going to be used for will depend on which crank is best plus spool appear to use cp pistons nitto use JE/SRP (which the cp workers used to work at JE/SRP before starting their own company, so end of the day same piston quality) in theroy the benifits/ differences i can notice other then the srokes; nitto cranks have slight knife edging and the rods with big end oil squirters spool cranks from what ive seen in pictures/ read are fully counter weighted aka gives the crank more throw (encourages it throw itself in the rotating directing)
