im 20 and i ride a bmx. i hope to still be riding at 27. oh yeah and ive got an interview for a new job in barker on tuesday. quit my last job a couple of weeks ago.

yeah as said it varies. depends which auction you goto, which day you go, who is there etc. if you get a good day with no dealers then you can pick up good bargains. last auction i went to was an MGS one, a fair few cars there. it wasnt a big auction, mainly for industrial type things, but the cars that were there went off super cheap. examples: 2002ish model Ford Territory, under 20thousand K's, immac condition, fully optioned model, went for $12k. Audi A4, not sure what year, but was fairly recent, went for $6k having said that, you could go on a day full of traders and pay a price that is totally stupid. do a bit of research, find out a bit about who goes to what auction, and youll pick up a bargain no worries.

its alright on the river. few nice areas. and its a nice drive through chain of ponds on the way here. and no problems with the police, i look after any imports that come here and make sure the few cops that are here dont give any hassles.

i got mine off of Sherwin (NV_NO1), hes quick and is a good seller. ive got a 180, so mine is a bit different, but im sure the symptoms of malfunctioning hicas would be similar. before i locked my hicas it actually seemed to have a mind of its own. at low speed, as others have said, it was alright, i could still notice it, but could handle it. it wasnt until i started going 100km/h+ that it really got bad. it was actually dangerous. the back end just felt like it had a mind of its own. slight corners would make it go nuts and all over the place, and have fun trying to turn abit sharper under speed. there was no way of knowing what it would do. r33s have it easy when it comes to locking it, as others have mentioned it is electrical. on s13s it is mechanical. took me a couple of hours to get the tie rod ends out, lock bar in, remove all the lines to the front, remove the actual hicas pump, and then finally run a loop from the outlet that goes to the hicas cradle to the inlet that brings it back. then there was the hunt to find the right wire to cut to get the light to go out on the dash. worth it though, the before and after difference is really very good. but thats coming from hicas that had a mind of its own. if it was working correctly im sure it would have served its purpose properly.

you can also tell by the rear guards having no pump compared to a GTR. HOSTILE made up for driving a fake one by driving one of the hottest GTR's ive seen.

yep as said if it doesnt have a hicas lock bar, put one in. youll love yourself for it. if you just want to get rid of the light; look into the car from the boot and underneath the parcel shelf, to the right of centre you will see the hicas computer. it will have 2 plugs in it, unplug the smaller of the 2, and cut the green with white trace line wire. that will make the light go out and stay out for hicas problems. it will still come on if you have low power steering fluid level etc.

yeah that was a bit of a let down. but oh well, ill come in and get you to paint the type x front soon.

yeah ive got some side shots somewhere, ill try to find them. it looks a bit different now cos i cleaned up a rabbit and blew the front bar to bits. so it has a white front bar at the moment. sambo33 painted the kit too by the way.

hey guys, new(ish) member here. couldnt find an intro thread, so thought id just start this. i made an account a while ago, but forgot what it is. anyway, im Tim, more commonly known as Ted. i did live in Murray Bridge, but moved to Mannum recently. i dont own a skyline, ive got a 180sx, but im sick of ns.com and the crap that comes with it, so thought this could be a good change, if you kind people will have me? so, hope to see some of you around, and ill try and be a regular poster, as long as everyone is cool with me not owning a skyline. cheers.
