Anybody here ever thought of switching to a Precision Billet 6765? Its a 67mm like the T04Z but has a redesigned billet compressor wheel which is lighter and made more aggressive to outflow any of the old 67mm turbos. A guy here in the states has one on a RB26 and he put down 763whp @ 32psi. Some 2JZ guys have it putting down 800+whp and one Evo guy i know of did 900+hp @ like 40psi with it. I didnt believe the 900hp thing till he ran it down the track and trapped 153mph.

Its a series 1. Have already put brand new coilpacks in it. I pulled the plugs and they do appear to be more on the darker side of a caramel/tanish color. Im gonna get a new set of bcpr6es-11 plugs and gap them down to .030" and try them. Ill see what i can do about getting another ignitor to try and ill clean my MAF as well.

No boost leaks. I can go half throttle and it's fine but if I go over 80% then it starts to miss.

It does it at stock 7psi, 10psi, or 13psi. What i found the other day is if i set the TPS to .45 volts with the engine off, the voltage drops to .35 volts when its running, and then voltage drops to .15 volts when the e-fans turn on. Its also not reading WOT. With throttle plate fully open, the ecu is only seeing 90% throttle at best using my AVCR. To get it to read 100% throttle, i have to turn the voltage up to .70 at idle and then when the e-fans turn on the voltage drops down to around .55 volts and then it wont go to 100% throttle. Im thinking the TPS is messed up. Has anyone else had this problem?

First id like to say ive read the threads about the coilpack issues and i dont believe thats the problem. The problem is the car misses only when going WOT. At part throttle under boost its perfectly fine and pulls hard but once at 100% it misses and feels like it pulls timing. I dont understand whats causing it. I have timing set to 15*. Checked boost leaks to 20psi and found none. Fuel pressure is at 43psi w/o vacuum. New SS Performance Coilpacks. Ive tried BKR7EIX plugs and BCPR6ES-11 plugs both gapped at .030" and didnt make a difference. Just for the hell of it i disconnected the battery to try and reset the ecu. Everything is properly grounded. TPS is set to .45 volts closed. Anybody have any idea or suggestions what this WOT miss is caused from?

2JZ guys have full boost by 4krpm with the T67 undivided. RB25/26 should have full boost by 4500rpm. Is that really considered laggy? I'll admit its laggy on my SR20. Full Boost @ 5500rpm on an Undivided T3 .82 Housing. I could only see a .8x Divided Housing on an RB25 or RB26 be nothing but fun. Hit full boost below 4500rpm and have plenty of power through the entire powerband.

Guess i gotta disagree. So many Supras here in the states run a Powerglide or TH400 doing sub 9 second passes. Not to mention 90% of the Domestics run the Powerglide or TH400 doing 7's. Not sure how these dont qualify as "real race cars"? -

haha yeah SR's are known to break Rocker Arms on the stock valvetrain. Ive got almost everything upgraded though. Ive hit 10krpm a few times doing burnouts and such with no issues. Engine has over 10k miles of daily driving and daily drag abuse. Its been good for the little engine that could.

Probably just best to upgrade to solids when doing cams. I love the solid lifters in my SR20. Just revs and revs with no worries.

Ah ok. Why would you need to machine the head for just adding cams?

A tad off topic but it relates, how big of a cam (duration and lift) can you use on stock RB25DET S1 valve springs?

Ive got a Built SR20 in one of my S13's revving to 9krpm with T67 turbo and i run Tomei 270's. Idle is somewhat lumpy but nothin too bad. Powerband is strongest from 5k-8500rpm. I imagine the 270's for the RB will be similar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syNqwlcebrw

Is there a difference between Sedan and Coupe badges? I thought Nissan had the badges almost as an option back in the day for each model.

Im hoping someone can help me here. I live in the US and cant find a GTS25t Badge anywhere. I contacted RHDjapan about it but they need a part number and that seems impossible for me to get considering the Nissan dealers here dont have part numbers for any skylines. Is there a distributor on the board that can help me get a GTS25t Badge and have it shipped to me in the States? Please email me at [email protected]
