G'day gents, Ive recently finished upgrading my front brake calipers and rotors to Sutimoto's, Ive been busy at work and i finally got around to doing all thw work and bleeding them, I have bled all the brakes but i just cant seem to get the air out, pedal goes straight to the ground but actually grips a little if i pump the brake, im trying to work out what to do for next time i have the time and effort to go into it, im thinking maybe i might need to upgrade to a R33 master cylinder, any ideas or pointing out obvious stupidities on part would be appreciated, cheers

put in my tranny cooler, hard suction line to turbo, turbosmart BOV (couldnt be bothered with having to plumb back the standard BOV) and also dropped the front drive shaft, definatly fun times being RWD but pretty just doing it to make it easier for when i get it tuned soon, -
I just upgraded my fronts with Sutimoto 4 piston calipers, can get them off R32 gtr or Z32 300zx (with cooling fins) or off R33 (No fins), the fins make no difference, I found that they fit perfectly on my S1, just had to remove a little orifice from the fluid inlet and I was able to use my standard brake lines with banjo bolt, to remove the orifice basically get a corse screw and screw it in and then use a claw hammer to pull it out give the aus300zx forum a look, those guys sell there calipers alot cheaper than the R33 guys, I got fronts with good pads and with DBA4000 slotted rotors for $200, the calipers use DB1170 pads which are pretty much a standard shelf item in most car shops that ive been in P.S while your looking at changing them out give them a splash of paint, works wonders in the looks department.

cheers guys, yeah I forgot about the whole open centre diff thing, I was doing all the work after I finished nightshift so I was pretty spacey haha
-
hahha nah mate, ive got R34 GTR rims now , im alright aye, just starting to get serious about doing mods again now that my house is almost finished, been walking around on concrete floors for 6 months now haha, hows the xtrail goin mate?
-
I like the sound of that theory cause it means nothing wrong hahaha, i dont know if it would explain it, because i locked the diff and it made no differnece, but fingers crossed that its that simple haha, thanks mate

Gday wagoneeirs, Ive just taking my stagea off the road for a few days to upgrade the front brakes and replace all my wheel studs (had 1 snapped), its up on axle stands at the moment and i was doing some curiosity looking around and found this problem basically my front passenger wheel does not drive, the other 3 wheels where spinning, i then locked the diff and this didnt help, the inner CV is a little cracked and from what i could see it didnt look very "greasy", i dont think it would be something as easy as jsut grease her up mate haha, so any thoughts? im hoping im not up for a diff or something like that, i would hate that, cheers lads

Stagea studs are the same as R33 and R34 studs, there is a difference in length between the front and rear studs, make sure you specify which one you need when ordering from nissan

put splitfires and new plugs in, changed oil and filter, replaced oil breather lines from head and tried but failed to put a hard suction line in -
im chucking one in because i got a brand new one for 50 bucks, and will save me having to upgrade injectors for a while, but I also like the idea that when i think about upgrading injectors i can run them in optimum range which is good practice that ive got from my work, im looking at installing mine when i get a few more parts together and do it all in one hit, ill take some pics when i do Paul

gday fellow wagonieers, i just got myself a tomei fpr and im jsut waondering if anyone has installed one, im looking for places to put it, theres a nice spot right where the stokie is but will be tricky bending some hoses and such cheers Paul
