  1. Yes, people are crazy! And yes, it sold last friday (for a steal).
  2. You should just move to Victoria - problem solved for both of us! The options for Skylines on carsales.com.au appears to be 2 door 0 seats 5sp Manual or 2 door 2 seats 4 sp Auto. It's stupid but I can't work out how to fix it up. Cheers.
  3. How is $8500 ? New car is here, and I'm taking up more parking spaces that I'd like.
  4. Ok people, I've dropped the price to 9.5k on carsales .. I need this car gone. If you're shopping for an R33, make an offer - you never know!
  5. Forgot to add - it has an ADR approved alarm/immobiliser fitted, with remote central locking. Aircon was regassed in January. Sale will include a "bucket of stuff", including pod filter / second aircon head unit / new, still in box brake pads / oil / etc. All good maintenance gear that I have hanging around (and no use for, without a skyline).
  6. I'm fairly certain the R33 doesn't have a "Type M" - the R32 GTST is also known as the "Type M", but for the R33 GTST and R34 GTT they dropped any mention of the "Type M" (but just to confuse things, the R34 GTR has the "M-spec"). Some people refer to any GTST as "Type M", but the only model to leave the factory as a "Type M" is the R32 GTST. But I'm not 100% on that.
  7. Can't edit the above post? Carsales Link Will post some more photos on the weekend when the sun is out.
  8. Make: Nissan Model: Skyline R33 GTST Milage: 127,000km Transmission: Manual Colour: Black Location: Ascot Vale Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Yes Currently registered? Yes Price: 11,000 Contact: 0402 55 6068 Comments / Modifications: I bought this car from another SAU member in December last year - intending to hold for a few years and mod away. I've been informed by the girlfriend that we need a cheaper to run car with 4 doors, and am saving for a house deposit, so all too soon the skyline has to go. Car has: - Heavy Duty Clutch - 3" Custom Turbo Back - New Sony stereo (fronts, rears, head unit) - Front Mounted Intercooler And that is all the mods! Has never been boosted hard, and I drive like an old woman so you're getting a lovingly looked after car in great condition. A great place to start modding from, or a really nice and powerful cruiser. Happy to answer any questions, provide the car for any inspections etc. Images: coming soon..
  9. I never knew that! thanks!
  10. if you are separating, price on fronts? (seats )
  11. Spotted V3535V in South Melbourne about 5pm tonight. I was in the Black R33 - good to see more V35s getting around.
  12. Anyone still going? I will drop in at 8:30 either way, maybe see some of you there.
  13. Camry. Bonus points: Sportivo. My theory is that Camrys must be SO incredibly brilliant when you're actually in one that you forget the outside world exists. Because as far as I can tell Camry drivers have no idea there is anyone else on the road, or that there is even a road at all. And sportivo drivers have that, plus when they do notice you trying to get past, they think "ah-hah! I paid for all the extra HP the stickers provide, I'm gonna show this guy how it's done!". Then you're stuck behind a moron erratically braking to 5kmph for corners / sitting on the speed limit in the right lane at every overtaking opportunity. Oh son of rajab I hate Camrys.
  14. Mystery Solved! Been looking at engine bay pics, and yep.. I'm missing me a thermofan. Thanks!
  15. Hi, Found this plug hidden above the radiator - anyone know what it is and where it should be plugged? The outside of the plug is grey, the inner bit is that red/brown color, and the wires from memory are black and black/yellow.
  16. Let us know how it goes ..
