  1. Umm... lol.... well im guessing the glue has gone hard, so you might need to use a knife to try and cut into it. Like cut away the glue and then should be all sweet! Must be pretty strong as well if it’s been on your car for awhile. Might be to strong to heat up... Does the BOV link air where its glued? Without bolts I couldn’t imagine it being very tight... lol
  2. Yeah the JustJap gauges that come in the package are mechanical, but you could buy the metal plate for $20 and then buy the electric gauges seperate. They sell the electric gauges as well for $90 each. Ive used a Autogauge Boost Gauge in my R32 before and had no problems
  3. Hey, Are there any cruises on tonight or tomorrow night? Havent really been on one before and pretty keen Cheers
  4. Hey, Yeah it can be done pretty easy. You could get the Defi din Gauges or you can get the justjap gauges. Justjap do a package where you get 3 gauges (boost, oil temp, water temp) and a metal plate that will fit under your deck. There are also 3 different type of packages with different gauges. Cost $175 all up for the Justjap package or around $500 for the defi din gauges Just make sure you dont buy the din GTR gauges... i did that and then found out that i couldnt use them in my gts-t...lol http://justjap.com/store/home.php?cat=267
  5. Did a little search and found that not many people use the universal rails. Everyone said they needed to cut and weld pieces together. They also said it made the seat sit alot higher. Still tempted to get the seat and try my luck but not sure... Does anyone know what needs to be cut and welded? If its only a few pieces of metal then that would be fine... Also does anyone know about the seat sitting to high? Can that be changed? Cheers!
  6. Hey, I was looking for some new seats and found on www.justjap.com some JJR Circuit Type Racing Seats. They are only $200 each and come with a universal rail. I was just wondering if the universal rail needs to be modified or will it bolt straight up? I also found that the universal rails by them selfs are $175 each, so seems weird that the seat is so cheap... http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=268&page=1 Info from Website: Fixed Back - Black Cloth Trim - Universal Rail Included - Sold Individually Seat Dimensions: Height: 940mm Width at Base: 510mm Width at Shoulders: 590mm Depth: 520mm Inside Width at Base: 340mm Inside Width at Base: 340mm Weight: 11.5kg each
  7. Oh Serious! Well that sucks!! Cheers for letting me know! lol Does anyone know where I could buy new interior parts? The main bit that goes around my deck and over my steering wheel is cracked. Was thinking of painting it, but still need one that isnt cracked... Also how much would dipping cost? never heard of someone getting there interior carbon dipped.. does it look good? Cheers!
  8. Hey, Just found on the net a website where you can order a full new dash cluster! replaces everything! Plus you can choose to have it done in 4 different colours. Has anyone done this before or is there another site that does the same kind of thing? Costs $500 http://www.piaa.com.au/prod249.htm Cheers!
  9. Hey Newboost, The 3.5inch cat back exhaust your using isnt to big for the stock Rb25 turbo. Although if its riding to low and your looking for a change, a 3inch system from the turbo back would be the best option. Would give you a good performance gain and would also sound nice. If you dont mind it riding low and just looking for performance than the 3.5inch cat back will be fine. You will just need to get a 3inch Dump/Front pipe and a 3inch Hi-Flow cat.
  10. Cheers Guys! Yeah looks like the boost is running hell high! Unless the stock gauge is out by heaps! Gonna hook up a aftermarket boost gauge 2moro and check it out. Still not sure why the POD is super LOUD! lol, but it doesnt seem to be a problem so wont worry about it for now...
  11. I always thought the stock gauge reads in mmhg? Becasue 7 mmhg = 14psi. And if your on Stock boost, the guage should read around 3.5, which is 7psi Can anyone confirm this please? Cheers Conversion Calculator: http://www.anver.com/document/company/Refe...s/pressure.html
  12. Hey, This may be nothing but just wondering... My brother bought a R33 skyline yesterday and it drives really well! The only thing that was a bit annoying was the POD filter. Was so loud! Alot louder than any POD filters that i have had. So we took the K&N air pod off today and put on a 3a Racing POD. The sound now is super loud! Even from behind the car I can only hear the airpod and not the exhaust! lol, cant believe how loud the POD is. Was just wondering if there is a reason for this, or if its just normal? Also his stock boost gauge is nearly hitting the 7+, which is 14psi! lol, the guy said it was set to 7psi but he doesnt have a aftermarket boost gauge. The boost controller is a GFB controller i think. Are the stock gauges normally out by this much? Thanks
  13. My R33 Skyline Series 1
  14. Cheers Mate! That made things alot clearer! Think I will go for a Heavy Duty Cushion Button clutch kit.
  15. Well looks like im up for a new clutch on my R33 but really not sure on which one to get. Im only aiming for around 200rwkw and would be nice to get one that isnt super heavy. I was wondering what the differences are in the clutches and which would be better. Im not sure what it means by Organic, 5 Puk Button and Cushion button? Heavy Duty Organic clutch kit (240rwkw), $335 Heavy Duty 5 Puk Button clutch kit (300rwkw) , $439 Heavy Duty Cushion Button clutch kit (260rwkw) , $445 Any help would be Great! Thanks!!
  16. JJR Stainless Dump/Front Pipe - $250 XForce Stainless Hi-Flow Cat - $180 Fuel Pump - $160 SAFC Neo - $400 Trust FMIC - $620 Apexi Pod - $80 Total: $1690 or instead of SAFC Neo you could get a Power FC Power FC - $1250 Total: $2540 If I had the cash this is what i would buy!
  17. Because the atmo bov is the reason why the revs are dropping so low. Its doing the same on my R33 and its starting to annoy me, lol. Pretty sure the atmo bov makes the car run richer as well, as my bumper is always covered in black crap just after a few drives.... Thinking of going back to the standard bov myself...
  18. If only you lived in Perth!!! Would of bought it straight away!! If you still have it and if its easy to send over, let me know
  19. Here is the Guage Pod you can buy from Autoworx, made by Mearcat. Gonna get one myself www.autoworx.com.au
  20. Hey Mate, Pretty sure you just need to fit a Oil Filter Sandwich Plate and a sender. The plate goes where the Oil Filter is and then that allows you to put in the sender. Then thats where you get a reading from. They are at the bottom of this link. http://justjap.com/store/home.php?cat=267 (If im wrong, please correct me) Cheers!
  21. Oh really? That sucks..... Wouldnt the stock boost gauge on the Gts-t have the same setup as the stock boost gauge on the GTR DIN? Can anyone confirm that it wouldnt work? Thanks
  22. Hey, I just bought the R33 GTR Din Gauges for my R33 Gts-t. I was just wondering how I would wire the gauges up? Would be great if anyone could tell me how to hook up the water temp, boost and voltage? (as i cant use the torque gauge). Ive hooked up a aftermarket boost gauge before, but i heard its different becasue the stock boost gauge is electrical? Thanks!
  23. Hi, Ive just ordered a GTR Din gauge setup and was wondering how I would hook up the water temp gauge? Ive checked the DIY forums but cant find anything. I was also wondering becasue i cant hook up the torque gauge (I have a GTS-T), can I hook it up to voltage or something so at least the gauge moves when i start up the car? Cheers!
  24. Hey, Clutch started slipping today on my car so looks like im up for a new one. Was wondering where the best place is in North Perth to a new one installed? Some people have said it would cost $400 and some have said $900. I will proberly wanna get a heavy duty one installed and also get my flywheel done. Cheers!
  25. Hey, Decided to take off from the lights a bit quicker than normal today and my clutch slipped really bad into second! When i put it into 2nd the clutch slipped for about 3 seconds!
