  1. If anyone had a HKS Sequential BOV i am am looking for one! not the ssqv, but the original sequential valve.. looks like this one:
  2. haha ok i know i said make an offer but lets get real... anyway, its sold to blackninja pending payment tonight.
  3. ok seriously make an offer cos it not any good to me sitting around my house..
  4. well according to the knowledgable users on this forum (including yourelf) it is fine... i thought i should at least find out if it was in correct working order before i sold it.. which infact was not my intention in the first place... I went and bought another one just to be sure that the spring pressures were the same... and THIS other valve i had bought to compare to my existing one was the one i was actually trying to sell because i dont have the need for 2 of them.. thanks anyway, i sold it to my mate thankfully for a very reasonable $30 after i realised that im surely not going to get any buyers on this forum after your display of assumptious detective work. SOLD - DELETE
  5. sweet.. i plumbed it back and it runs fine now.. still sounds tough too but not to loud thanks for the info boys and girls
  6. ok will do i still dont quite understand however why it cant be run vented to atmo if it still leaks at idle when plumbed back anyway? no matter what your still loosing air..? as long as the valve is sealed when on boost why should it matter if its plumbed back or not? confusing... thanks anyways guys
  7. ok, so its ok that its open a little at idol as long as its plumped back..? it wont leak on boost??
  8. i am glad i read all of your comments because i have just finished my rb20det conversion and was wondering what boost to run... my mate runs 14psi in his skyline everyday and well he drives like a pussy so that doesnt count.. but what i want to know is.. If i want to give my car a good proper driving like it should be drivin!! (not like a pussy) then what is the safest max psi? realisticly?? 10? however i only have a turbosmart Tpiece (not a bleed valve) will this still spike? thanks guys, very informative.. even though your all arguing hahahaha
  9. the VAC line is connected properly and not leaking.. but mine is soft enough to press in with relative ease.. easier than stock gtst valve anyway. plumped back or not? i dont have it plumped back at the moment.. should i plum it back?? Does this mean i have to have it plumed back? or will it still work fine vented to atmo?
  10. ok sweet, because i can press it in easier than i can the stock gtst valve and i thought that was weired.. and it is open at idol but as long as your saying this is normal? and it will seal when there is boost and not leak? and does this mean my engine has good vacume?? cheers guys, i know im a noob but i know bov's arent sposed to leak
  11. Hey guys, i bought a GTR BOV a while back and it seems that the spring was alot softer than the stock blow off valve... just wondering if this is normal?? i put it on my car and ofcourse it leaked.. but why ? i never thought springs could get that soft? anyone know or have one that can explain this?
  12. i am also looking for just one GTR bov so if you sell one to Turbo Dave and one to me 70 bucks each.. therse 140 PM me if this is possible! My name is also Dave
  13. if you can guarentee that it doesnt leak and it works fine then ill take it.. is it possible for you to fit it to your car and shoot a smal video from your phone and post up a link to it? haha i would just love to see it in action b4 i buy. if thats too much trouble then ill wait for another one..
