Hey guys, Here is a photo of my keys: The top button unlocks the doors and turns off the immoboliser, but the bottom does nothing. I was wondering, is it possible to make this button do something? I was thinking maybe turn neons on/off, turn engine on/off, headlights, maybe even open the boot or bonnet. Is this possible? Or does it have to live the rest of its life lonely Thanks, Rhys

I agree, just like saying every Commodore driver is a bogan. There are some very nice commodores out there, and some are very ricey! Like one I've seen near my house, white VX with a black roof, panda style! It looked discusting and I nearly threw up. THAT is rice!

Hey guys, my gear stick is really loose, it has stirring syndrome, I move it around and it feels like I'm mixing something. At first it didn't really bother me, but after going from 1st to 4th a couple of times be accident, and not being able to find 2nd in a hurry, I really want to fix this. Is this a problem with the linkage bushes? Or something else? How do I fix this problem, because if I take it into work, my boss will charge me full cost to fix it. I've pulled the boot off and got right down the the box itself, but couldn't find anything that could help me. I'm guessing it is under the car? Thanks, Rhys

Yeh, I was surprised when I found out. I don't have any service records for my car though, so I'm not sure whats going on. But if the filter is bigger, its not going to fit on the small mounts or what ever you want to call it. I'll have a look at the Z442 tho. I'd rather not do the whole guess, check and improve though, I want to get it right the first time! There wouldn't be any difference between the turbo and NA models would there?

The Bored At Work Start New Topic Kinda Thingy

Is actually working out of the question? -
Cheers, I'll try that. I hate the lights in my dash atm, really ugly. I'll give it ago.

Automatic Height Adjustment

I know, its because hydralics don't use springs, so it makes the car very dangerous. I've enquired about air bags, but they don't fit in the front, not enough room. Also, I want a car that handles really well, so airbags are out. I was thinking about something like what Tein brought out a while ago, but I didn't realise its $4k. I think I'll just scape a bit! -
There is a difference between tacky or stupid and nice looking cars. Go to a car show, a lot of the cars there have very little in the way of performance mods, but they look good. The owners know what is classy and nice and what is just down right discusting. GT-R badges on a stock GTS is just wrong. Type-R badges as well. Neons on a stock Gemini (The lights are worth more than the car!) or LED wheel nuts are a big no-no. I think there is two meanings of Rice. Rice as in crappy modified cars that only look good to the eyes of the owners (A face only a mother could love??) and then there is Rice, which is us. And Cruisin33 has kindly volunteered to remind everyone of that. Thanks Dave, we all appreciate it!

Hey guys, Yesterday I nearly ran up the back of a Camry because they had to brake suddenly to stop at a yellow light. I thought I was going to run up the back of them!! I know I need new brakes, but I didnt think they were that bad. Here are my two options: 1. I can get my hands on some R33 GTS-T parts for under a $1k. These include hubs, rotors, calipers, master cylinder, and LSD diff. 2. Keep the 4-stud hubs and upgrade the rotors and calipers for aftermarket items. Rotors would be BDA, slotted and possibly drilled, but I'm not sure about the calipers. Which would be cheaper to do, and what would be better? I love my car, my license, and I do not want to hit/harm/kill anyone or anything because my brakes are shit. Any help would be appreciated. Rhys

I bought myself a Valvoline oil filter yesterday, a Z145A like you guys said, but it is much bigger than the one on my car nah, not even slightly similar! I'm going to get my boss to check his database 2moro 2 see what filter I need, but does anyone know the actual filter? I'm really pissed off atm. My car desperately needs an oil change!

I am liking the hydralics idea, why scrape when you can bounce over the curbs? Also good for avoiding paying for parking, small chrildren running over the road, or avoiding the red light sensors when screaming through traffic lights. Yeah, I think I like the hydralics idea! -
R33 Series 2 Front Bar On Series 1.5?
NA_Goodness replied to SiR_RB's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
So a S2 front grill will suit a S1? I thought they were different, but thanks. Didn't even know they made a S1.5! You learn something new EVERY day! -
Love it!

R33 Indicators Blinking Crazy
NA_Goodness replied to SKYTYM's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Had a new beatle come in to work on Friday, front indicator didnt work, so the other two flashed crazily. Hit it once and it all worked perfectly. Turned it off then on again and the same thing happened. Bloody VW!! -
Automatic Height Adjustment

I was thinking about modifying my curb to get it sitting flush with the road, but not sure how my parents would like that. But if I do that, I'd have to redo my whole front verge. The curb looks easier than it really is, and then my driveway drops down steeply. My mate's stock height VP commodore scrapes when he pulls in. But i didnt expect this thread to get so big! -
WTF would you need a heat sensor? The exhaust isn't going to melt anytime soon! Crazy japs...
-
When u change ur oil, run it until the oil light goes out then wait another 10 seconds. The oil pressure sensor in right next the the oil filter, so when the the light goes out it means the filter has oil, but the rest of the engine doesn't. Once there is oil all through the engine, recheck again and top it up again.

Hey guys, I know VIVA GARAGE is one of our sponsors, but how reliable are they? And how much modification do their kits need to be fitted? I'm interested in the Type T body kit. Some of these companies can be a bit dodgy, so I'd rather ask around before sending off my hard earned cash. Cheers, Rhys

They make bodykits don't they? Do they have a website or something? I'm looking for a TRUST bodykit in Perth, rather not buy over the net

R33 Series 2 Front Bar On Series 1.5?
NA_Goodness replied to SiR_RB's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Sorry for being off topic, but how different is the Series 1.5 to the Series 1? I have a series 1 and want a later model grill, but I thought they didn't fit because the lights were different sizes. Are your headlights closer to Series 1 or 2? -
What Do You Think Of My Dash Lights...
NA_Goodness replied to BAMR33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I like it! Altho I have been known to like ricey things like neons and extra lighting, but it looks much better than stock. How did you do it? Was it in a kit, or DIY? I hate my dash lights, and I'd love to have something like that, only red. -
That is just disturbing. How can anyone be that stupid? BTW, I'm installing a new 100hp pulley onto my turbo tomorrow...
