I want to put a RB25DET into my NA R33. Are the wiring looms the same? Otherwise I'll sell it and buy a turbo model. What other things do I need to consider with this swap? I know fuel, brakes, suspension, computer. Are the gear boxes the same? Cheers, Rhys

How much would it cost me to get a side mirror painted? I need a new one, and have the option of a Marone one for $50, or a silver one (colour of my car) for $80. Cheers guys, Rhys

Hey mate, try moving this into a larger section. That way people from all over the site can read it. I'm looking for the same thing, and was dissapointed when I saw you hadn't got any reply's yet.

There is another DIY somewhere about this, I saw it yesterday. On the R33 S1, cover the letters with masking tape, then spray the rest of the panel the colour of the car. Then insert LEDs behind each letter so that when it is turned on, the letters glow. You can then hook it up to either a switch, your lights, or your brake light. I was thinking about doing this, and was going to hook it up to my lights so that its on all the time during at night, and to the brakes so its on sometimes during the day. Let people know what your rolling in!!

Hey guys, Does anyone have an R33 passenger side mirror for sale? My mirror on the left hand side won't turn. It will adjust, but not fold in. Unfortunately the whole unit is sealed so I can't find the problem so I'm looking at buying a new one. Preferably metallic silver, but I an get it painted if neccessary. Cheers, Rhys

Most cars with sun roofs as options come from the factory without one, then when you order it the manufacturer sends it away and gets it installed. Someone does it for them, but I cant remember who it is. The best in the Country. The job is as good as OEM, because it is pretty much!!

If they are sealed, they shouldnt be dirty inside. Mine were really cloudy, so I scrubbed them (still on the car) with JIF and they came up much better.

Bolted on are ugly, but if you moulded them on they'd look much better

1 wiper = less wieght than 2 wipers thats about the only reason i can think of other than being different

yeh, they cost $5k. couldnt you just buy the bonnet, front bar, lights, and the R33-34 conversion guards seperately? That wouldnt cost $5k, would it?

Hey guys, My R33 Series 1 has a broken grill. It was held on by 2 clips and melted rubber, which i stupidly pulled off when I pulled it off. Soo... I want to know what I could change it to. I want to install maybe a GT-R grill, or is the series two different? Does anyone have any of these so sale, or where could I buy one from? Rhys

just paint them. Put them in the oven for about 5 mins to melt the glue, then pull the headlights away. Then paint the part that you want painted, put them back into the oven to melt the glue again, and push it back together. Be very careful not to break them tho, they are quite fragile.

No, there are no holes. There was an article in HOT4s where they debadged an R34 GTT the same as you want to do. Just use a hair dryer (heat gun will be better) and floss or fishing line. How faded is your paint? If it has faded, you'll see where the badged were, but otherwise you'd never know they were there

A-Pillar guages? Bonnet mounted, altho both of these are illegal. You can put them in the aircon vents as well

the front wheel is more focused than the rest of the car. It looks funny when you lookn at it

Is it possible to use the rear wiper mechanism at the front? I was thinking about this the other day. I dont like the rear wiper, so I was thinking of deleting the rear wiper and one of the fronts, and then moving the rear one to the front. Would this be possible?

Is the spoiler on the R33 for a reason? Extra downforce at higher speeds like the Audi TT? Or is it purely cosmetic. I know you have to do some sustantial modification to have a smooth boot, and was wondering if this was a deliborate act by Nissan to prevent the removal? Sorry to highjack the thread tho.
