  1. Cheers man! A lot of people tell me its the cleanest in Perth, but I'm too fussy to agree. Not just yet Might raise the rear up a bit more. And the front a tad as well... Sidd, I'd take your Chaser over my 33 any day!!
  2. Agreed with the picture quoting. Its just having a bit of fun. Gonna get some 18s for it eventually, but these will do for now. The front will need spacers, but the rears shouldnt. Theres a crazy amount of camber in the rear atm I'll make you proud one day, Alex!
  3. You learn something new everyday! Thanks for clearing that up for me. Dont see the point of putting a cast iron V8 in the front of a Skyline, its just added weight. The alloy blocks go a long way to weight saving and improving handling.
  4. Lowered my car last weekend. Get my licence back in 9 days, so lets see how long it stays like this I need to lip and roll the guards slightly, then adjust the rear camber to bring the rear wheels out nice and flush. Should look good!
  5. Lowered my car last weekend. Get my licence back in 9 days, so lets see how long it stays like this God knows how I can turn, but I havent too many issues yet. Lol
  6. Lol, I was lucky enough to find a bee when I was learning macro shots. Turned out alright. Would love to get a proper macro lens though, I do enjoy taking those shots.
  7. Its called Jap-Lish. Its quite common with car parts, and always good for a laugh.
  8. Just read all 38 pages, fantastic work mate!! This is something I've always wanted to go, and I know everyone says that, but its good to see someone actually do it! Well done mate!
  9. Nice shot Sidd! Was that with a Macro lens?
  10. Nice shots Matt! Wish we had something like this in Perth, I love Time Attack.
  11. Well I personally prefer tobuy new parts where ever possible, but if it's inreally good condition and can be cleaned up I might be interested. Can you PM me a few pictures and a price, mate? Steve, I remember you borrowed that. Who made the custom one? I'd go to Kermit, but he says a bought one will better. Otherwise that KTS one looks good. Anyone else know if this is avoid brand? Not too familiar with them. Snozzle, currently mine hangs down lower then that! But my mate got done cos his exhaust was too low as well. The section they pointed to was 120mm off the ground!!
  12. Hey guys, My car has a JJR dump/front pipe that hangs down WAAAAY too low. Hits on everything, and now I've lowered it a bit more, its attacking my driveway and curb Besides raising it again, is there a way of raising the front pipe? Or more likely, is there another brand that sits higher then this one? I want to keep it 3in. Any help would be appreciated. Rhys
  13. Thats awesome Mat! Makes the photo much better to look at. I'll give it a go tomorrow and see what I get! Cheers for the feedback
  14. OK, should chuck my details up here. I'm Rhys Maylam from WA. Got my DSLR August last year and have been steadily learning since then. PM me here or call/text me on 0431681965 I dont really charge anything because I dont feel I'm good enough just yet, plus I'm trying to get the name out there for when I'm ready to turn professional and give up mechanics. Few sample shots: More at RM_Photography Just let me know what you need!
  15. "bombed" means awesome. I wonder if he sent that PM?
  16. That's awesome, dude! My mates brother did the same thing, had a ball. I'm looking forward to seeing the different photos you send us
  17. Personally TWOOGL is pretty high up there for me. Not a fan of the link posted above for some reason.
  18. How long are you over there for, Sam? Took these tonight. Not awesome, but definately a start. Technique I can work on: Next time I might find somewhere with less lights. Or kick them out... Its the guetto anyway, it'd be normal to see people kicking lights
  19. Do a search, been asked many, many, many times before
  20. And it currently sits very fkn nicely!
  21. You'll get there mate. I've been shooting for just over 6 months now, and I've learn a lot in that time. Just listen to Sam, Sidd and Zennon and you'll be right. Sam, awesome shot!
  22. Guess I'll save for a decent one then. Cheers, mate. Eric, some good shots man! With the auto focus, have you tried focus lock? With those kind of photos, set the focus point to, say, middle. Aim it at the item you're shooting so it locks on (dont frame it, just aim at that point), press the button half way, hold the button in that position and move to take the photo. It'll keep that focus, and save time manually focussing! Its a trick I use cos I'm half blind. Never too sure if its focussed right or not.
  23. I was looking at fish eye lenses on eBay, and found a whole heap of add-on lenses for less then $50. What are your thoughts on these, guys? They attach to the end of your existing lenses. Cheaper then $600 for a new lense, but dont want anything dodgy.
  24. Thats awesome mate! I'm seriously considering giving this a crack on my own car. Well done!
