Yeah, it's a great lens, and not a bad price for an L lens I reckon. I should have waited until the MKII came out and snapped up the IS a bit cheaper, but no one wants to wait for a 21st birthday present! Haha. When my phitography makes me filthy rich (BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!) I'll upgrade, but for now its fine. Although the above photos were taken on my 17-85.

That definately looks like something stolen from the army! Hahaha First decent photo with the new lens! Still need to learn to make do without IS, but I'll get there: I love this dog, she's awesome!!

Finally got my birthday presen!! It's a tight fit... Already spewing I didn't get the IS model, but it was free so cat complain 70-200 f4 L for those interested. However I will upgrade to a 70-200 f2.8L IS eventually, after I buy my 7D. (might be sooner if I fail to convince myself saving for a house is important, lol)

Here's my black and white photo. This piece of graf I found a while ago has become quite useful as a back drop! Lol Another lightpainting attempt. Turned out alright considering I only had an iPhone 4 camera... Probably the last photoshoot before its sold Will be sad to see her go.

Sorry about your loss mate. We've had her about 7 years and she was living in a friends front yard, so she doesn't lay too often these days. Still get a few, if we can find them The dog usually follows her around, they're good friends! Lol
