  5. didnt think a 3037s bolted straight on to the stock manifold? but could be wrong. always thought it was a highmount. try a HKS 2530, HKS GTRS or try a search! topic covered a bewillion times already
  6. My sincere condolences to their family and friends. Such a tragic waste of life that could so easily have been avoided. I hope everyone learns from this shocking trajedy. RIP

  9. id go the 2350's or t517z's. excellent response with good mid range and top end
  10. ditto, always thought it faced forward. seems kinda strange to mount it backwards concidering the positioning of the 4WD gear box and other components
  11. i have one of those paper hand held japanese fans u guys can borrow
  12. btw, i have never heard of a 3.1L stroker kit for the rb26. biggest is the OS 3L kit and apexi 2.9L
  13. totally agree. it doesnt take huge uber dollars to get a 32R into the tens. A pair for 2530's/2540's/t518z's should do nicely and still have some acceptable response. fuel pump, cooler, cams, pfc or any other god ecu, clutch, injectors, some good tyres ( maybe nittos if you can find them or even federals as a 32 cracked into nines with these!). all you have to watch out for is the box!
  14. it all depends on what the application is. If you want drag, curcit, drift or street or a mix of all of them. Generally(on the street) if you want better resonse you would go for a small twin setup which give a broader power band and better spool up time. However in terms of drag racing, the only limiting factor behind a big single is the power output. most of these are limited to around 800-1000ps whereas a twin set can go 1100ps and beyond. Also cost is invloved. If you have a twin setup you need two turbos, manifolds, set of lines etc. So really it is a comprimise between what you want and what you can afford.
  15. the cannon uber-mega-super-duper good camera! those pics are sweet as! full credit to the photographer!
  16. he needs to work on his keyboard worrior skills. maybe ask paul to give u a hand!
  17. fair enough. im not doubting the cars potential just that using radial tyres a pass so fast just doesnt seem possible at this point. considering it took the HKS supra which uses biggggg drag slicks to get as far as it has, it seems hard to believe to see a supra with radial tyres runnin almost as fast
  18. not a fan of those black doors. front looks good but the whole car is really not my cuppa tea
  19. was the pass made on radials or big f'er slicks? cause i just cant see anything at this time in history making a 7 second pass on tyres like those or nittos.
  20. just jap have one of the best reps around here. great ppl to deal with. www.justjap.com.au (i think)
  21. hmmm ..somehow i dont think that run is qutie "true"
