  3. the manifold i chose was hpi... okay u can get 250-300rwkw with the standard manifold but your pushing shit up hill with the turbo .. so i still dont know where u get the idea that anything over 300rwkw change the manifold crap came from.u can get one from justjap $600-700 bucks..mmm and no boost issues and only manifold and dump changed but dump was same size as previous.! and as for proof has anyone actually compared the standard to an aftermarket one....that should answer your question if its worth while!.

I have to disagree with this statement anything over 250rwkw and wanting 300+ u should change the manifold...i dont know where everyone gets this idea from where the standard is fine up untill 300 ive tried the standard with my r34 and it was choking at 250 and boost was not holding all the way to 8000rpm droped off at 6500 with a 2835!... Changed the manifold and bang! more power everywhere and held boost! did i just enter a shit fight..ahahah

  14. well if the turbo can flow yes its true it will hold in an rb30 but it has has to come to a point to make PEAK POWER......what the point of reving it to 7000rpm when peak power is made at 6500rpm thats what im saying....

  17. i agree but u can help tidy up there figures for more power but torque does give u an indication of where the power is like u just pointed out with your rb25 and rb30 story.... and your right about the rb30det it comes down to the tune.. the rb30det would be great for track since it has great torque but head for head it would be shit house but it made peak power early in the rev range so there's no point reving it out... comes down to what u want it for .. cheers

  19. thats true but afr raio's perfect for 12.5 for this turbo and the torque should be very high.... its running too rich!

  24. why dont u guys get a thicker radiator and a thermostat that opens up at 65degrees ...with one fan and these simple mods as well as an oil cooler u should be able to keep temps down alot.....why bother with a twin fan this and that, when it is a bandaid solution because the fans wont last that long ...
