I hate to necro this but when you use a 10mm spaner to wedge the strut out did you had to drill a hole to make new strut fit?

Okay i've tried a couple exhaust and i've db tested each of them, 1)5sizen border iii - 75db idle 2)Bee - R - 78 DB IDLE 3)Blitz Nur spec-R 80db idle 4)Kakimoto full mega N1 single 87db idle The kakimoto full mega N1 single is freaking loud, its about 78-80db with the silencer on but once its off, the sound its freaking amazing. It has a very mellow gurgle but sounds nice around 3k rpm, but absolutely amazing floored. None of the youtube video you can find on youtube can describe it, you just have to hear it yourself. The setup is with catalic removed with straight pipe, mid pipe+resonator and back exhaust original full set from kakimoto. If i was to rate the sound, it would be 1)Bee-R exhaust (extremely rare to source but sounds absolutely like a GTR35 howling, amazing amazing sound. You can find a white german skyline with the bee-r on, i'll try to get the link once a get home from office.Its a complete different sound, makes your rb sounds like a VR38dett engine with TUBI exhaust on it) 2)really nice low bassy sound around 3k rpm, amazing when boosted. 3)blitz nur spec -r, overated. Lots of video on youtube, once u try kakimoto n1/bee-r u won't look at blitz nur. 4)5zigen border iii - its a damn quiet s-flow exhaust. Never got a problem with the cops. I would rate this slightly nicer and better than the nismo ne-1.

Help! my car brake lights won't turn off even if i've switched off the car. The only way of turning off those damn lights is by removing the brake light fuse in the fuse compartment box. Anyone have any similar experience and a way to fix it?

have you tried cleaning it with degreaser and brake cleaner? I personally use degreaser, then soak it overnight with vinegar and finally another night with softdrinks, eg:pepsi/coke before finally rubbing off any extra residue with a combination of autosol and wiremesh.

Anyone know where to get the valve cover washers for RB26? (13268-58S01/A)In my country Nissan quoted me USD140 for a set of 20. I don't wanna sound cheap but 140 dollars for plastic grommet is bloody ridiculous. Has anyone got any luck with an alternative that works and last and i would appreciate it if anyone know where i can get these cheap online and ships worldwide! Thank you in advance.

Turn on your headlights and check if the back light of your car is working. If it is not working together with your dash light, it is a burnt fuse. The fuse is located at the back of your car, just next to the battery compartment. Can't really remember what amperage its on, either a 10A or 15A fuse. Hope that helps.

same with mine, mine seems to be off by about 20kmph, it only start budging from 0, once i get the speed up to around 20kmph+. btw, im using a gtr cluster instead for my r33 gtst.If the ecu gets the signal from speedo, not sure if it'll be harmful to the engine on the long run. Been using it for 6 months so far no prob. Friends always teases me wth am i going so slow, i told him my speedo is in MPH lol.

i dont have bubbles,oily residue or heating probs, just that there are oil residues at the sides joining the top and bottom end. Also the cylinder gasket seems to have oil at the sides too. I figured the stock gasket will only hold boost at the max of 1.2bar and i definitely wanan go beyond that, so a thicker gasket is on its way.

Just a quick one, i have a rb25det series 1 that seems to be leaking so i've decided to get a metal gasket. Did a search turn out i got mixed results of using 86mm or 87mm. I've got a stock machine, and the bore size is 86.5mm, just wanted to ask if its okay to go with 87mm as these are abundant as compared to the 86mm out there on the market. anyone?please?i'll even do sucky sucky on the webcam for you just wanna get the answer asap lol.

the first sentence is a reminder to change the timing belt every 100k kms. the second sentence says the car has its timing belt changed at 63155 kms on year 12 month 4 on japanese calendar year (i don't know how to convert japanese calendar year to modern date system)

i had it fixed. It appears that the fuse to the dash is the same fuse to your backlight. The fuse is at the back of your car, replaced it and works now(how can i be so stupid, wait nissan is stupid, the dash fuse is nto in the dash at all but at the back of the car?wtf)

there are 2 dvds on drifting dot com if i remember correctly on the rb engines. One about rebuilding the rb25det and the other on transplating it on a 240sx(you can see a preview of the DVD on youtube if you google for "Rb25det rebuild dvd") it goes for USD 18-24 each and i've been dying to find the ripped download version for ages and no luck. if u decide to buy pls upload it! haha.

same probs here.only develop this after clutch change. it was good for 5k now its a bitch to drive. If i disengage the clutch too much the rpm drops to 400rpm. need to get it fix a.s.a.p. Just wondering if its the fluid level coz i've never asked if they drain out the oil when they did the clutch. i saw my g/b was on the floor when the dismantled it and put in the new clutch so i assumed somehow some fluid was lost.

nice write up.I saw H1 HID kits on the internet using the H1 bulbs connected to the ballast. Not sure how good it is.Been contemplating to do this but most kits i found out there has the xenon chamber bulbs which is bigger and that means i have to cut the caps like you did. still weighing out options if i wanna cut it! arghhhhhh!

thanks. i just looked everywhere and i couldn't find mine. It appears so that it is not a requirement in my country to fit a dimmer (thats why i was like wth is a dimmer?!).

got it fixed! did a search on the forums turn out to be a 10A fuse at the boot of the car! doooh!

i have the same problem after replacing the bumb with LEDs. i believe i have shorted something. Can i know where is the dimmer?

so i've finally decided to change my bulbs in the R33 gtr dashboard to LEDs. It was suppose to be a clean, easy swap as i've done it on my other r33 gtst.The lights were good for a good second but when i turn it off and on again, it was blank. all the other functions like check engine oil, hicas, 4wd, door open etc are working fine, only the damn backlight to the speedometer and rpm meter refuses to turn on. I have a blitz boost meter hooked up too, the backlight only turns on if i turn on the headlights now its gone too! And that beep when i have my headlights on with the keys in are gone too!!!! anybody got any idea what's wrong? I thought it was a fuse but they all seems to be fine.
