  1. one of mine died lucky they have a 2 year warranty... the guy on SAU (can't remember his name) replaced it with a new one i think they are just not as good as splitfires OEMs are way too expensive
  2. how much did suspension come into play? I had old stiff bilsteins.. got a fair bit of wheel spin now I've got new cushy teins.. should get me off the line better
  3. we've put 30psi through a stock block on e85... still going strong!
  4. we've temporarily blocked off the BOVs it made 355kw... just wouldn't make the 370kw for some strange reason (maybe BOV related...) will try to run it at the creek as soon as I get some time
  5. yeh luckily I still have them. going back on asap!
  6. Just got a call from Chea it was the dodgy second hand blitzs blow off valves that were leaking!!! they have blocked em off and i should get an update shortly.
  7. i already have metal ones :S but there was an leak issue with them before so they might have started leaking again...
  8. Just an update on mine... when I took it to the strip and ran 11.7 it had a pretty big boost leak this was confirmed when I took it Unigroup's dyno day and I make 315kw (on a hot day). Yavuz said on a cool day it would make around 330kw. He also confirmed that there was definitely a boost leak somewhere as we could hear a loud screech. I put on hard pipe kit on hoping it would resolve the leak (did it myself) but there is still a leak. I took it to PowerTune on saturday to see if it made a difference. We did 3 power runs... all three made 332-335kw (this was the same dyno that gave me the 370kw reading). so i think the unigroup vs powertune numbers are comparable. There is a big screech and a boost leak. the dyno shows boost dropping from 24 to 22psi. I've left the car with PowerTune and they will fix the leak hopefully this week. Then its back to WSID!!
  9. 10. make me an offer... these are just sitting around
  11. haha not yet trying to save some cash mate had a boost leak when Yavuz put it on the dyno... bought a hard pipe kit and it pulls a lot harder now... keen to get it on the strip not looking like I'll be able to leave work early though
  12. If weather is better and I can get out of work early I'll come Blue R33 GTR come say hello
  13. Up for sale are these yellow bilstein coilovers that came out of my GTR Have been told that these are height adjustable. They work perfectly. The only reason they were taken out of my car is because I changed to a softer suspension setup. The reason they are so cheap is because my mum keeps threatening to thrown them out and I need a quick sale to get rid of them. Pick up only from Western Sydney. Text only on <removed> for any queries. Thanks Umair
  14. we gained about 20kw switching from a standard 34 GTR cooler to a thicker 100mm unit on my brothers car, which has a 6262 on e85 although the power increase was also a result of another 4-5 psi of boost but our tuner said a thicker cooler was required to utilise the boost jumped from 420 to 440kw. and in terms of standard rubber piping... mine keeps tearing with -9s on e85.. I've had to replace the rubber pipe just below the twin turbo pipe 3 times now. Have a hard pipe kit waiting to go in. The rubber ones are 17 years old now and struggle with 25psi running through them.
  15. definitely has a high 11 should aim for low 11s
  16. sounds a little bit laggier than my old GTST with a 3071R on it... mine was tuned at 20 psi... see attached dyno the different is the PT will have a lot more in it! chuck it on e85
  17. thanks Sean & others
  18. I made 372kw with -9s but the car seemed to lack power down the qtr mile. I'm now almost 100 % certain that my cooler pipe just below the twin turbo pipe had a leak in it... I've gone through two of those pipes already!! A hard pipe kit should be on in the next few weeks then it's back to the drag way to see what's what
  19. Interested in steering wheel but will it cause the airbag light to come on?
  20. slap on a big turbo, give it plenty of fuel and away you go!
  21. Trent just ran 10.3 @ 142 mph too.... Nitto just defies all logic lol
  22. interesting... i might come down then
