  4. lol now now fellas this was suppose to be 10k build... that 10k has already been spent and ill ive ended up with is 320kw and another broken box haha ah well... it is what it is... now the issue is what to do... get another 33 box (which I can get for $500) + plus install and whack that in and drive like a pussy for the rest of my life or fork out 4-5k for a OS/PPG gearset cost vs benefit really

  11. i dont think its too unrealistic considering the factors involved - we know these turbos really get going when you pump big boost through them - 27psi would make a big difference compared to the standard 18-20psi... especially on the GTX series - e85 is in the mix... ~15% more power right there even it you take 25kw off the number.. 350kw is still very impressive
  12. standard dumps your springs were working fine... mine appear to be screwed the bolt ons have been check, checked again then checked one more time... he has eliminated them as the issue yeh i dont think PT use them very often... im still very happy with the response.. on paper at least... will drive it tomorrow

  14. I wanted full boost before 4k and was going to get cam gears but was assured i wouldnt need em.. and he did pull it off.. 25psi by 4k is pretty awesome.. They would have tried around 20psi... Id say it would have been around 310kw.. will check tomorrow
  15. Not sure if anyone knows but PowerTune just got 370kw from a gtx3076 on a SR20 with e85.. pretty awesome for a smallish single

  17. seems like mine is hitting 25psi around 3800-4000 RPM with standard cam gears! will put up a final power figure in this thread once all its issues are sorted!
  18. yep... 3.5" was made as 3" would not flow enough for 350kw+ so thats fine turbos are in good nick... cam timing... shouldnt be an issue if cams/cam gears are both standard?? leaks have been found and fixed intake is new as we had to remove the AFMs due to the MAF less tune which leaves valves I guess??
  19. can you please provide further details of your situation?? even the tuner said standard cams are perfect for -9s yeh Yavuz only has a 2 wheel dyno so readings are in RWD... he does tune them to last so they might be slightly lower in power perhaps...
  20. I'm sure he would have tried it already but I will mention it again he didnt mention anything about knocking... just seems to be stuck at 320kw
  21. Tuner has assured me that all the bolt ons are fine Standard GTR cooler and a 3.5" exhaust... Shouldn't be an issue

Tuner said power isnt falling momentarily... it just starts to lose power consistently after 6300RPM... its not like it temporarily loses power then jumps back up :S the back pressue shouldnt be an issue... its got big front pipes and a 3.5" exhaust the power is staying similar thought! it made 317kw on 22 psi with a boost leak under the plenum from a gasket what does that suggest?? (sorry complete noob here)
  23. not sure about timing... cams are standard... all other major mods are on the 1st page what sort of indications do you look for with valve floats?
  24. had met the PT tuner a couple of times... he's pretty switched on too plus they have done a fair few eflex tunes and are supposebly the best with Haltechs ah well.. whats done is done
