  11. Hey guys I think there are a few other guys in the same situation as me. My car came with a 3" HKS cat back system from Japan (it's really really quiet, I kinda want something louder). I have also had a hi flow cat and 2.75" front pipes fitted to the car. I'm now planning ahead to future mods. I currently have -9s and am planning to put 20psi through them with e85. This obviously means over 300rwkw... From what I've read, people highly recommend getting a bigger exhaust for anything over 300kw. But since I've already got a full 3", I wanted to know what kind of gains I would expect to see if i upgrade my whole exhaust to a 3.5 or 4 inch system. If its something like 20rwkw then I suppose its worth the expense. But then again I have no idea how much a 4" system costs and where I would find one. I'm expecting them to be around $2000 (dont need a titanium or anything too fancy). So can people please shed some light on this based on prior experiences. - Did you upgrade from a 3" to something bigger? If so, what kind of gains did you see? - Do I need a 3.5 or 4 inch system for -9s with e85? - Where can I get such an exhaust (online, Just Jap, custom???) Cheers Umair

  13. interesting... 380rwkw on 3" exhaust... guess i dont really need to upgrade that thanks for yr input man... how are your injectors holding up?? getting close to max duty cycle?? I'm going to upgrade my cooler just to be on the safe side

  15. -9s on E85 should crack 350 i'm pretty sure i need a cooler... stock ones are good for 300ish kw from memory yeh had profec b in old car so will prob grab one of those again (just wanted to check if they were actually needed) made the mistake of putting a 'cheap' clutch in the old car which just fried spirited driving so I want to make sure that doesnt happen again. thanks bud keep em coming

Hey guys ok so gonna go ahead with the next bunch of mods... aiming for 350 - 375rwkw on E85 car is R33 GTR VSPEC current mods are (producing 270rwkw) - PFC - 3" cat back - Garrett -9s - shitty compliance cat - stock everything else I need help with the following. Rather that just stating the type of part i need, it would be really helpful if people can suggest a brand and part. I need: - intercooler core (how thick should I go without creating any unnecessary lag) - Injectors - 1000cc?? which brand?? - Fuel pump - I dont think an internal bosch 044 will be enough flow... will one external do the job?? - clutch - im thinking a jim berry item... do i really need a twin plate... (i am planning to take it to the strip every now n then) - cam gears - which brand??? - boost controller - do i really need one?? or can my tuner mess around with the actuators to get the desired pressure - exhaust system - 3.5" item - z32 AFM - easy one keep in mind that my budget excluding the exhaust is 4-5k... if its necessary then will fork out the extra $$ for a bigger exhaust planning to tune it on 98 for now, but will retune for e85 when caltex do their thing please advice cheers Umair

  20. most of the cars were yr usually showy nuggets... a couple of stand outs though... best bit was a 34 GTR with RH9 plates making 988kw on the dyno without gas anyone else go??
  21. Garry took me for a drive in it when it was still at the shop... quick car... had a lot more in it back when I was in the passenger seat. Goodluck with the sale mate... if lag wasnt my mortal enemy this would have been sitting in my garage
  22. i personally regret selling my gtst for a GTR... i had mine for almost 3 years... was my first skyline so i spent hours and hours on here doing my homework got it up to 290rwkw and sold it due to it getting me into too much cop trouble.... 'upgraded' to a GTR and its just not the same... i dont like it lol (so its up for sale) if u sell something you put 10 years of TLC into, you may end up really regretting it i say do the rebuild... built 25 with a 3076 on E85 will be awesome fun in a RWD car... btw is it me or can ppl really feel the additional weight of the GTR during daily driving
  23. That doesn't sound.right.. my standard ones are at 270kw.and they still have a bit to give... either get yr injecters checked out or get a better tuner buddy
