Ok so I'm about to replace the standard BOVs with an aftermarket blitz item on the weekend. Just wanted to know if i need to get anything else before I take the front bar off and have a crack. Swapping them over is pretty straight forward but I wanted to know whether anything special is required to replace 2 BOVs with 1. BTW I know the factory GTR BOVs are good enough as they are. This is my car and is a personal choice that I'm making so if you dont have anyting productive to add are just going to flame me for putting on an aftermarket item then dont bother. interesting... im getting 270rwkw at 15psi almost the same mods as yous... except no boost controller, cooler or front pipe lol that boost curve is all over the shop i've bought a metal racing cat which i will 'modify' for more flow and looking for a decent front pipe... once those are in my boost should come on as early as yours then to get some AFMs n injectors n put 20psi through it

dunno if its just me but the sensation of 300rwkw in a GTR is peanuts compared to what u feel in a 300rwkw GTS-T the weight definately comes in to play then there is the power delivery of the turbo(s) and i'm pretty sure the AWD has an effect too... dunno if its just me but I seem to feel the rush more in RWD cars compared to AWD ones

anybody getting rid of a front pipe? preferably in Sydney???

Would prefer if the item is in Sydney but if the deal is good then freight will be accounted for. The car is a R33 GTR with -9s on it off the top of my head I need: - 3" front pipe - 3.5" hi flow cat - z32 AFMs - Injectors (550cc or there abouts) - Apexi pods (Yes I am a child and I want my whoosh back) The front pipe and cat are priority right now. dont think so dude... i had my old car making 290rwkw on the standard manifolds and it was all good... no catch can either he must want you to have it as a precaution rather than anything else...

buy a power FC... then save up another $600 and get it tuned

why do u need a catch can to wind up the boost :S ?

a stock GTR would be electronically limited to 180kmph.... right?

the suburb makes quite a difference eg insurance for a car located in the northern suburbs would be cheaper compared to the same car being parked in blacktown....

yeh at the moment its awful because its a half arsed job... the original plan was to buy everything and do the mods all at once... the turbos were replaced due to the originals letting go... which is what will most likely happen if you squeeze 280kw out of them... once the exhaust is sorted it will spool much quicker...

did anybody watch ACA or whatever its called just then... the presenter asked the guy who is behind the mobile cameras if he would get a fine for doing 64 in a 60 zone... and the dude did not give a straight answer... which basically means yes! so there leeway with these cameras is going to be shit all... 1 or 2ks I'd say hence everyone will be looking at their speedos everywhere they go and we are all going to die in horrible crashes
