  1. sorry for the late reply unfortunately the car has now been sold so I cant take any more pics I did have one of the engine bay here somewhere... If i find it i'll chuck it on

  3. haha yeh Franga... only cat back the turbo upgrade were unexpected... the standard ones went so got the -9s im just going to leave it as it is for a months... but hopefully the full exhaust helps with lag... going to focus on seeing some more digits in the bank account

Sean it would be interesting to compare your results with mine Our mods are very similar, however I'm only running 15psi due the AFMs and Injector limitations... getting 270rwkw as it is but I am surprised at how laggy my current setup is... im seeing full boost around 4500RPM which is pretty damn laggy.. must be the restrictions in the exhaust (only catback with compliance cat) I would like to compare your power delivery with mine be sure to put up results!

  8. are they going to rip the motor apart to check for injectors? :S or there is another way of telling whether they are aftermarket or not the factory ECU cant support aftermarket injectors so I guess u'd have to take them out...
  9. so its impossible to pass EPA with a PFC? can they easily tell if the car has an aftermarket computer... i would have thought that they focus more on noise and emissions... so if yr exhaust and cat is up to scratch you will get through?

  12. thats around 260kw... not much at all mate... especially for -5s... with 15psi running through them I would be expecting 300kw+ if all the supporting mods are there
  13. my old R33 GTS-T had misfiring issues from day one... could not even cope with 180rwkw... Splitfires were the fix for it... my current car R33 GTR is now putting out 270kw at the wheels with the standard coilpacks... no spark issues at all "if it aint broke, dont fix it"
  14. ok so just took the car for a drive and there is a fair bit of lag... full boost (15 psi) is at around 4700RPM... now the exhaust the main culprit... I only have a 3" cat back atm with a shitty compliance cat a front pipe and a high flow cat is a must... wondering what kind of a difference the exhaust will make in terms of response... power will def go up but I'm more concerned about the lag right now... not very fun to drive on the street as it is... do you think another tune is a must after the exhaust is complete?

  20. yeh cat is gonna go... gonna get a front pipe too... injectors... and cam gears to bring the lag down a bit more... then she'll be a nice street car

Its definitely laggier compared to standard turbos... will need some cam gears to help with lag its punchy... top end is much harder than standard turbos pretty sure actuators are aftermarket.... not exactly sure which ones tho... tuner said he did have to play around with the 'stock boost controller' to have an even 15psi line umm full boost comes on around 4k i think... i havent really driven it much yet so not sure... will put up the dyno print out when i get home
  24. she'll be ffiiinnnee i'm looking for an excuse to rebuild a forge motor anyway haha but i'm not expecting 350rwkw... I think it'll will be around 330rwkw realisticly
  25. ok thought I might add my results... only just picked the car up yesterday 2860 - 9s from GCG Stock motor... only mods are the turbos, cat back exhaust and PFC 270rwkw @ 15 psi... not a bad result I thought standard AFMs were maxing out + injectors are almost at their limits tuner said the shitty complaince cat is also holding back 15-20kw now the goal is to get all the supporting mods, wind up the boost and go for 350rwkw
