  1. Stock duration with 11 mm lift
  2. http://www.mines-wave.com/english/CATALOG/ENGINE/CAMSHAFT_SHORE.htm Check these out. 252 at 10.05mm.
  3. Don't use a drop in cam if you're going to all that effort of building a stroker engine. That's like mixing everything for a cake, putting it in the baking dish and not turning the oven on! As Brett said, something with not much duration and big lift. My tuner and myself went through this a few years ago. We spun up a JUN. 264 @ 10.5 and a Tomei 270@ 10.25 and found the ramp rates to be very very mild.... So we made our own which was actually a Alfa Romeo NA Lobe and stuck them onto RB sticks. 260 @ 10.85 mm. ( they also use stock buckets) Don't forget, you'll need a decent valve spring with cams with agro ramp rates. There are a few VQ lobes which are of interest. One is a 248 @ 10.56 mm iirc. Can always try and get that lobe put on an RB stick.
  4. Didn't take you long did it! Haha!
  5. Sooooo put the one that works back on. The stock one had been doing a great job for the last 20 years, why change it?
  6. I have run my wideband with the sensor after the cat. Sent the readings all over the place, particularly light throttle would jump around like it was on a pogo stick. Moved the sensor infront or the cat and it was sweet.
  7. Why try and make a square fit into a round hole? Fit the correct part and the issue will magically go away!
  8. The typical bloke that buys these budget/$1,000 super specials wouldn't even consider to change the oil in them. The Unigroup RX7 (which races in prod sports) had a set of these in for one race weekend Turfed! Went to a custom set of Bilstiens with no adjustment what so ever. Been in the car for 3 years now. Is doing a much better job. If you know anyone that has a series 7 RX7, there's a 1 race weekend old set upstairs. Proberbly give them to you for a case of piss. I've had 4 different sets of stuff in my car. The guy that did the UE RX7 did mine. 14 kg/mm front, 9 kg/mm rear. I know no one will believe me, rides softer and soaked up our shit Sydney roads better than a set of stock giraffe suspension. The guy that put assembled them at Bilstien wanted to know how they rode as the valving in them was so far off what you would consider "normal". 0414 553 021. Give Dejan a call. He will tell you what's wrong with those BC's. I hope you have a bit of time on your hands.
  9. I've had them in a R33 GTR. Resonable on the street - not bone breaking.
  10. I've been in a few cars with them. They're terrible. Isn't that enough?
  11. Micko Atleast knows where his timing is sitting... Just saying.
  12. Use some glen 20.
  13. The guys that think those BC's have any value in them whatso ever have rocks in their head. May aswell put some railway sleepers in. Might do a better job.
  14. You're 31 % away. Lol Do it again. Depends what you have paid for A "flex tune" or E85 and a 98 tune. Having the fuel willy nilly in the middle of no where, of course it's not going to run right.
  15. Drain tank again and put more 98 in it. You'll be surprised at how much E85 is still floating around when you thought it was "close to empty". Better yet, take the return off the regulator and let some flush through the system.
  16. What does the sensor say? E0?
  17. A mate on here went from -5's to a 8374 internal 0.92 rear. 5-700 rpm earlier it comes on and makes more power. Given that Geoff reckons the 1.05 will be 150-200 rpm behind the 0.92, you're still infront.
  18. Why don't you ring the guy that tuned it and ask him?
  19. Run 6. Middle of the hump.
  20. Don't run the tune within an inch of its life and it'll be fine either way.
  21. Don't most thermostats let through 10% of oil anyway, even from dead cold.
