  1. Don't dick around with piggy backs. Get a decent ecu. Stage 2 cam? You don't need an N1 block.
  2. Yep. Total hate for the banana here. *walks away mumbling under his breath*
  3. RB 20's don't have a heat exchanger like the 26's do. They seem to be going ok for the last 25 years.
  4. They both have taller ratios. Assuming a 265/35x18 tyre and stock ratios and a rev limit of 8000 RPM the speeds are as follow Stock 1st - 75 2nd - 120 3rd - 180 PPG Helical and straight cut dog 1st - 89 2nd - 143 3rd - 189 OS GIKEN 1st - 87 2nd - 138 3rd - 190
  5. Factory diffs belong in the dumpster!
  6. They're not sequentials but. H pattern, 6 speed dog. Not too keen on being the "test dummy" for a new product but OS88 option 2. Done!
  7. Flick Tom a email at PPG. He owns the ex PPG demo GTR and says the box has been in the car for 7 years, 40,000 kms and no issues/freshen ups. That's the helical 1-4 dog set. How much do you value lightening fast shifts? Don't forget, that particular gear set, the ratios are substantially taller than factory (1-3).
  8. I went out and spoke to Terry at Award A few months ago. He said there are two new options for us. Both are dog boxes and 6 speed I believe. That's all the info I have. It might be worth while giving him a call as he said he will have more info soon. Apart from those two and what you have mentioned, I haven't found anything that stands out.
  9. My stomach wasnt.
  10. Something like this? That's my GT block being put to good use
  11. Not sure how you drive, but it's Definately easier with the right foot
  12. With the internal gated single, say an 8374, do you just use the external gated twin scroll manifold and just block the two gate runners off? I can't see a internally gated option for the manifold.
  13. Whatever happened to throttle control? It can be somewhere between 0% and 100%.
  14. -7 and -9's won't do the figure you want. What you have at the moment with some boost up its bum will prob crack the 400 mark on E85, other than that it's -5. There are a couple other options out there now. Check out this discussion. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/445007-the-frankinstien-twin-turbo-thread/ You do NOT need Tomei manifolds. They do a really good job as a door stop or a paper weight and thats about it. I would also suggest ditching those split dump pipes and replacing with bellmouth/open style pipes. Do you plan on stretching the capacity abit? IE Stroking it? At the end of the day, you're lugging around 1600 KG plus of car with a smallish capacity, short stroke, relatively lowish comp turbo charged engine. It's going to need a few revs whatever the turbo choice. There is plently of info in the forced induction thread about this. Have a decent search.
  15. As above. Not sure how much there is in changing the pipework. Sean Morris over in the states did a back to back with the "twin turbo pipe mod" and said there was 8-10 hp with that. For what it's worth I'm making 470 plus rwkw through 5's on all stock pipes including the stock airbox. Spend the coin elsewhere.
  16. Unigroup engineers cars 02 9631 2470 Speak to Yavuz or Mark.
  17. Chuck it in here. The Frankenstein thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/445007-the-frankinstien-twin-turbo-thread/ I thought you were going an EFR 8374?
