  1. I went out and spoke to Terry at Award A few months ago. He said there are two new options for us. Both are dog boxes and 6 speed I believe. That's all the info I have. It might be worth while giving him a call as he said he will have more info soon. Apart from those two and what you have mentioned, I haven't found anything that stands out.
  2. My stomach wasnt.
  3. Something like this? That's my GT block being put to good use
  4. Not sure how you drive, but it's Definately easier with the right foot
  5. With the internal gated single, say an 8374, do you just use the external gated twin scroll manifold and just block the two gate runners off? I can't see a internally gated option for the manifold.
  6. Whatever happened to throttle control? It can be somewhere between 0% and 100%.
  7. -7 and -9's won't do the figure you want. What you have at the moment with some boost up its bum will prob crack the 400 mark on E85, other than that it's -5. There are a couple other options out there now. Check out this discussion. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/445007-the-frankinstien-twin-turbo-thread/ You do NOT need Tomei manifolds. They do a really good job as a door stop or a paper weight and thats about it. I would also suggest ditching those split dump pipes and replacing with bellmouth/open style pipes. Do you plan on stretching the capacity abit? IE Stroking it? At the end of the day, you're lugging around 1600 KG plus of car with a smallish capacity, short stroke, relatively lowish comp turbo charged engine. It's going to need a few revs whatever the turbo choice. There is plently of info in the forced induction thread about this. Have a decent search.
  8. As above. Not sure how much there is in changing the pipework. Sean Morris over in the states did a back to back with the "twin turbo pipe mod" and said there was 8-10 hp with that. For what it's worth I'm making 470 plus rwkw through 5's on all stock pipes including the stock airbox. Spend the coin elsewhere.
  9. Unigroup engineers cars 02 9631 2470 Speak to Yavuz or Mark.
  10. Chuck it in here. The Frankenstein thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/445007-the-frankinstien-twin-turbo-thread/ I thought you were going an EFR 8374?
  11. There is nothing to look at. Post a photo.
  12. Would you be happy with a dog box or sequential box in the car?
  13. Yeah, $24,000. Lol Also, they're straight cut. Noisy as feck for a road car.
  14. That PPG set is not a synchro box. It's dog gears. Just so you know, Pete.
  15. What's "full boost"? 10 psi or 45?
  16. Don't forget you'll get a few grand for the RS's.
  17. Where is Lithium. DING DONG!! EFR 9180 is also a viable choice too.
  18. A 6466 would do 500 with ease, no reason to go to the bigger comp wheel and push the curve further to the right. I believe JEM did a 2.6 / 6466 engine and spat out 603 at 35 psi.... IIRC. Big dollar engine however.
  19. As in the boost would creep up when the wick was turned up?
  20. TU2868RHTA Upgrade customer's GT2860R or RS to a 68mm HTA billet compressor wheel $700.00 I just jumped onto the FP site. The 68 mm wheel is $700 per turbo. In regards to the rear housing issue, would there be any advantage of opening up the gate hole? Something like the XR6T boys do with their stock turbo's.
  21. Never heard of that. Not saying it ain't true, but those sorts of issues become pretty well known damn quickly. What's "heavy loads"?
