  1. drop in means they fit without head mod (shimming doesn't count here). How does Tomei know what the user wants out of his setup?
  2. Sitting there idling doesn't do anything for ring seal. Got to get the gases in behind the rings to push them against the bore otherwise they're just "going for the ride". http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm Give that a read.
  3. Has the engine seen any load at all? Idling for 30 minutes is suicide.
  4. Any results of that, Dan? Sorta like shoving GTX wheels in bolt on housings but going one step further. Potential cons using the EFR wheels?
  5. Two chances of fitting those in factory position.
  6. Depends on how they have been dialed in.
  7. ^^ what turbo(s) are you using?
  8. How high are you revving to warrant 272's? It would want to be damn high! If you want the "hectik" lump lump, pull some fuel and timing out at idle.
  9. How much power do you have? Both are restrictive as hell. Sound great but no good if you're making any sort of decent grunt.
  10. Where you gonna peg the boost?
  11. What happened to the 6262?
  12. They really are not that bad if you rubber mount them. But yes, there are quieter pumps out there.
  13. First I've ever head of a poncam not fitting. Interesting.
  14. What's your number, Troy. I have a fix for this.
  15. I've used a Nismo and currently an 044. Both did the same job. I suppose, as long as you have an overflow from the surge tank back into the main tank, you can't (within reason) bugger that up.
  16. I'm running a very similar setup. Lift pump into a 5 litre surge tank, twin 044's into standard feed and return, into fuel rails, -8 out of the middle to reg, -8 back to surge, -6 back to tank using the standard fitting. Absolutely no issue. I have a fuel pressure gauge which reads from the FPR. All seems happy. Has been like that for almost 4 years.
  17. If they're a "drop in" cam then the base will be 32 mm.
  18. HKS did that too. I've got a picture somewhere. Was never sold to the public though
  19. You want to delete the system which will make the car so much nicer to drive, to run different covers? :\
  20. A lot of people use them with what seems great success. That second gear is almighty tall though. The BC Automotive GTR was using one.
