  1. Hey guys, Just after some SR covers. Can be any type, any condition, preferably a bit banged up. They wont be used on a car. Location - Sydney Cheers.
  2. Can of worms there. A 250 KW 2530 turbocharged GTR either has something wrong with it or has 10 psi running through it. Some believe the HKS turbo's are super dooper compared to their garrett counter parts - You be the judge of that . 2530's are too big for a stock standard engine (this is only my opinion)... unless you're a straight line guy. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/254450-79s-or-5s-garretts/ Here is a 48 page thread -7/-9 (N1 pr GT SS) VS -5 (close enough to 2530's.)
  3. As above. As for cams, either leave the stockers in there or go 250 poncams. Go through this thread and have a looksie. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/93880-rb26-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/
  4. Looks like the normal cast wheel to me.
  5. What fuel pump are/will you be using, Disco?
  6. What CR was the engine built to? Have you checked with a second gauge to confirm the first gauge is accurate?
  7. Has it had the mixtures and timing looked at after being screwed together?
  8. What's the piston to bore clearance that HKS recommend and what was the engine actually built to?
  9. drop in means they fit without head mod (shimming doesn't count here). How does Tomei know what the user wants out of his setup?
  10. Sitting there idling doesn't do anything for ring seal. Got to get the gases in behind the rings to push them against the bore otherwise they're just "going for the ride". http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm Give that a read.
  11. Has the engine seen any load at all? Idling for 30 minutes is suicide.
  12. Any results of that, Dan? Sorta like shoving GTX wheels in bolt on housings but going one step further. Potential cons using the EFR wheels?
  13. Two chances of fitting those in factory position.
  14. Depends on how they have been dialed in.
  15. ^^ what turbo(s) are you using?
  16. How high are you revving to warrant 272's? It would want to be damn high! If you want the "hectik" lump lump, pull some fuel and timing out at idle.
  17. How much power do you have? Both are restrictive as hell. Sound great but no good if you're making any sort of decent grunt.
  18. Where you gonna peg the boost?
