  2. Any idea what twin it is? The Nismo twins have a high friction point so it could be one if them.
  3. Good luck . As for the box, you'll start to realise there is a "gap" in the market. OS set, maybe, but a few guys on here have busted them with sub 500 kw atw, let alone the 5 million you're gonna make with that thing! Whatever the direction, it's $$$ and lots of it! The 1-4 PPG helical dog set is prob the cheapest way out.

  6. As above, with big Micky. No need for a cam that will spin to a million. A - you're limited in revs (7250 RPM) B - it's a street car/circuit car. Area under the curve wins. Micks RB30 with 250 poncams does NOT fall over on an RB 30, what's the point on going more duration when they will let you make more power higher in the rev range.... You'll never get there (with your rev limit) and will only hurt bottom end.

  8. Put two cats in it. A mate tried twice on E85 with a Euro 4 and the third try he welded in a stock compliance cat with the Euro 4. Smashed it! Now it's back for full powah choons!
  9. I have seen on one of Robs builds he mounted it in the boot on that black bracing. I'll see if I can dig up some photos tonight.
  10. That's good to know, cheers! What does it drive like? I'm really liking this getrag idea. Does anyone know what tail shaft to use with the Getrag in a 33? I know you use the R34 front shaft but not sure on the rear. I'm assuming the 34 unit also?

  12. Nothing yet, Eric. Car is still at the panel beaters. Oil still hasn't been drained out of the box yet lol. Michael Hill has given me his spare stock GTR box so hopefully over the Easter break I'll get it in then get my one stripped down. I am considering putting a PPG dog set into a Getrag. The ratios are pretty sweet, even with the 4.11's, although would be better with the taller diff ratios.

  14. I second Mick . Why have a cam that can spin to 10,000 RPM when only revving to 7250 RPM. Mick has 250's on his RB 30 and doesn't nose over at all.
  15. I can't see how the 60 mm gtx's will spool up like a -9. That's a huge ask for what is essentially a 400 hp turbo.
  16. If it's a street car, a normal new water pump is fine. N1 is for dedicated track car only.

  18. Anteater - Once you go round a corner and you have jumped on it earlier than you ever have and you have somehow popped out the other side without putting it into a pole, you'll laugh then kick yourself for not doing it years ago.... Let alone the rear
  19. Throw in OS GIKEN 80W-250. Calmed down my GT Pro by 90%.
