  1. Dunno man. I have no problems inside the cabin. Only smell is from the arse end when outside.
  2. Must not be driving fast enough
  3. What on earth are you on about mate? I'm asking you, seeing that I'm obviously wrong in your eyes, what exhaust setup would you recommend for the OP?
  4. What would you recommend for this guy, Disco? Exhaust ports back...
  5. "It's inevitable you will loose bottom end" Ash didn't, yet went bigger. Maybe that's how his car was setup. He DEFINATELY didn't go backwards as you're implying. Time to put the text book away and go off the guys who have spent the money trying different things AND have the numbers to prove. Ill give you an example. My GT RS setup with a kakimoto "full mega N1" exhaust (which had a 2.5 inch restrictor in the rear muffler) was terrible. At 2.0 bar it made 414, 1.7 it made 404 or something. Got rid of that catback to a 3.5 inch and not only did it woke up the turbos but it also went alot better uptop. Then went to smaller turbos with a twin 3 inch and I made AN EXTRA 100 kw at 4000 rpm and an extra 25 ontop which is still no where near it sits today! Real world experience, real cars. Not something you have read between session on red tube! OP. As Allan said, 34 dumps/sole sort of bellmouth jap dump, find a front pipe which is twin 75's into 90 (I think midori do a set), big cat and ATLEAST 3.5 inch cat back. Without some silly restrictor like alot of the "brand name jap" exhausts have. Having been through it a few times it really isn't that mug more to get a custom system made up which hugs the car with big meaty mufflers. If I had to do it again, that's what I would do!
  6. Proof? We have just had a discussion about this small exhaust vs big exhaust bizzo only last week week. The guys that have gone from a peanut exhaust to something big and free flowing have ALL SAID the bottom end felt stronger! Myself included.
  7. You got me thinking, Pete. Whats the retail on these bad boys? Argh!
  8. Have you got the bottom one out? If so, put it back in and tighten it up. Crack the top one then remove the bottom one.
  9. I can spot ya mate. For a fee! Lol
  10. Item: Racepace Motorsport harness bar to suit R33 GTR (and possibly R33 Gtst) Location: Georges Hall, Sydney Price: $250 Condition: Perfect Payment: Direct debit to my account, Or cash on pickup (if in Sydney) Reason for sale: Not using it How to contact: Via PM. Some info about it: I bought this off a fellow forum member (Jack – JAGR33) back in September 2011. I put it in my car but never used it. Decided to pull it back out so I can fit passengers in the back. Jack had this with the rear seats in. It bolts to the seatbelt mounting point. No modifications are needed to fit this bar. I will not post this interstate due to the big and awkward shape of it. I'm sure thats understandable. Cheers.
  11. Wrong. There have been members that have gone from 3.5 to either a 4 or twin 3's and have picked up grunt everywhere!
  12. Not exactly, no. 2530 has a slightly bigger comp wheel than the -5. Not much in it though.
  13. In before thread lock. Do a search. There are a few threads dedicated to this exact question. Plenty of info and a definate formula to follow for the result you want.
  14. Don't need to. Try that, it helps alot. The $1 crappy spanner bin at bunnings is great
  15. Heat up a 14 mm spanner and bend it 90 degrees. Helps alot
  16. Jesus Christ. Will someone buy these!
  17. 1000 RPM is bloody night and day!To pull out of a corner at 3500 rpm and actually move is a good thing!
  18. An RB 20 with a T88 ain't laggy either if you drop it from 11ty RPM and keep it on song.
  19. Look at the video where it compares it with the supra. That left hander up the hill it falls off song and it takes a bit of time to get back to its "happy zone".
  20. It has NOTHNG at 4500 RPM. Look at the videos. It's a lag wagon if it "falls off". People bust a nut at how quickly it "revs". 5:1 or what ever they are plus the 6 speed give the illusion it's "responsive"Between gears it's a bulldog, but you have to keep it spinning!
