  1. Give Unigroup a call. They will have something that interests you.
  2. What if you're at 4000 in second... Not quite enough on a massive cammed 2.6 with 5's to really get a wriggle on.... You're not gonna go back to first are you?
  3. ^^^ Is that the silver gtst with the 6466? (I forget your name, sorry )
  4. The blokes name is Daniel.... Can't think of his last name. "Morris Tech" is his company. From what I can gather, it's just him designing all funky stuff like this. Yavuz asked a few of us what we would like in it, anything we could think of, it already had it! HahaI also have one of his "ignitor replacements" on my car. Had misfire issues a few years ago, ditched the OEM ignitor box, ran this and problem solved. GTR_JOEY had the same issue, same part fixed it.
  5. I was surprised too. There are no cough's, splutters, 'funny idle' moments. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the "name" or "marketing machine" as some of the better known ECU's out there, so some might turn their nose up at it.
  6. What size engine is it? Fuel? 280's are too big. Got a graph? Who tuned it?
  7. I just did this conversion two weeks ago. I also needed shafts AND my V spec bolt pattern did not line up with the flanges that Nismo supploed in the kit. Both were a 6 bolt pattern but not the same size.
  8. I haven't even looked at the car since I parked it after driving it home that Tuesday night. Work has been full throttle! Hopefully Saturday. I will report back
  9. I've spoken to Yavuz about that too. There will be updates and its just a simple download. Not sure if you have to go out there to have it some or through Daniels website. Ill ask when I'm out there next. One thing I forgot to mention is how "revvy" it is in neutral. It's alike a farken motorbike! I've had to learn not to push the pedal down so far when heel-toeing.
  10. Haha. I saw it on the way home while driving... Couldnt be arsed typing on my phone
  11. Rightio. I have the first GTR version in my car at the moment (more may have been put in since). I went from a PFC to the Link G4 and the driveability difference was amazing. Now having the Blackbox in there i reckon it's that again. The snapiness and just how crisp it is is really leaps and bounds infront of the two above mentioned ECU's. I always had a few little issues starting on E85, with the blackbox it's first go every go. I changed from the G4 simply because I ran out of input / outputs. Between the Ethanol Content sensor, Wideband, staging fuel pumps, oil pressure and fuel pressure safe guards, crank trigger, I simply had no more room. Now, as far as I know, Yavuz is the only one that has this software (I could be wrong though), so if that's an issue for you, then this ECU may not tick all your boxes. You're obviously in Sydney so if you're interested, by all means come round and take my car for a drive.
  12. Dunno man. I have no problems inside the cabin. Only smell is from the arse end when outside.
  13. Must not be driving fast enough
  14. What on earth are you on about mate? I'm asking you, seeing that I'm obviously wrong in your eyes, what exhaust setup would you recommend for the OP?
  15. What would you recommend for this guy, Disco? Exhaust ports back...
  16. "It's inevitable you will loose bottom end" Ash didn't, yet went bigger. Maybe that's how his car was setup. He DEFINATELY didn't go backwards as you're implying. Time to put the text book away and go off the guys who have spent the money trying different things AND have the numbers to prove. Ill give you an example. My GT RS setup with a kakimoto "full mega N1" exhaust (which had a 2.5 inch restrictor in the rear muffler) was terrible. At 2.0 bar it made 414, 1.7 it made 404 or something. Got rid of that catback to a 3.5 inch and not only did it woke up the turbos but it also went alot better uptop. Then went to smaller turbos with a twin 3 inch and I made AN EXTRA 100 kw at 4000 rpm and an extra 25 ontop which is still no where near it sits today! Real world experience, real cars. Not something you have read between session on red tube! OP. As Allan said, 34 dumps/sole sort of bellmouth jap dump, find a front pipe which is twin 75's into 90 (I think midori do a set), big cat and ATLEAST 3.5 inch cat back. Without some silly restrictor like alot of the "brand name jap" exhausts have. Having been through it a few times it really isn't that mug more to get a custom system made up which hugs the car with big meaty mufflers. If I had to do it again, that's what I would do!
  17. Proof? We have just had a discussion about this small exhaust vs big exhaust bizzo only last week week. The guys that have gone from a peanut exhaust to something big and free flowing have ALL SAID the bottom end felt stronger! Myself included.
  18. You got me thinking, Pete. Whats the retail on these bad boys? Argh!
  19. Have you got the bottom one out? If so, put it back in and tighten it up. Crack the top one then remove the bottom one.
  20. I can spot ya mate. For a fee! Lol
  21. Item: Racepace Motorsport harness bar to suit R33 GTR (and possibly R33 Gtst) Location: Georges Hall, Sydney Price: $250 Condition: Perfect Payment: Direct debit to my account, Or cash on pickup (if in Sydney) Reason for sale: Not using it How to contact: Via PM. Some info about it: I bought this off a fellow forum member (Jack – JAGR33) back in September 2011. I put it in my car but never used it. Decided to pull it back out so I can fit passengers in the back. Jack had this with the rear seats in. It bolts to the seatbelt mounting point. No modifications are needed to fit this bar. I will not post this interstate due to the big and awkward shape of it. I'm sure thats understandable. Cheers.
  22. Wrong. There have been members that have gone from 3.5 to either a 4 or twin 3's and have picked up grunt everywhere!
