  1. ??? Because pressure BEHIND the turbine wheel and not allowing the exhaust gasses to exit the pipe, HELPS the turbine flow? If that's the case, I better get one of my twin 3 inch pipes, chuck it in the bin and just run a single 3!
  2. Not sure Mick. That'll prib be it though. Ill ring the man tomorrow and ask.
  3. Have had one and you can DEFINATELY feel the difference!!! Unfortunately, mine just caused me issues. If you have the cash to burn and can be assured that it won't vibrate then go for it.
  4. All in and done. Clunk, clunk. My 4WD, ain't working now. Ideas guys?
  5. Diff is in, clunk clunk, bang, clunk, clunk. Sounds mad ! Did a whole heap of figure 8's and by the time i got home it's starting to settle down a tad which surprised me. BUT, now my 4WD aint working! What have we missed?
  6. Thanks Pete. I think Terry has found a set, ill know more later on today. Fkn Nissan Fkn.
  7. Its farken stupid. Nissan give you new flanges in the box. Whats the point when they dont line up with my original shafts? ARGH!
  8. They do. It got released about March. It was a toss up between that or the Nismo. I went the Nismo.
  9. Since putting the Quiafe up the front, the rear is single pegging sometimes. Having so much more grip up the front must be throwing the standard computers into "f**ked if i know whats going on, so i'm just gonna single peg".
  10. Nah man. Gotta fark around tomorrow and get out there somehow. Yuck!
  11. I have a V spec, yes. But to put an aftermarket centre into the housing, you need a Non V spec diff housing.
  12. What a nightmare this V spec/mechanical diff conversion is. Car is still out there, got the diff in and my shafts are A) too short and B) the bolt pattern on the flanges are different!!!! Why do Nissan make stuff like this all different!!! I've also put in alloy diff bushes. My original ones were flogged out pretty bad. No more diff floating around now!!!!
  13. Bought them through Aaron at Import Monster. Took AGES to find a set. He brought them over and got them touched up. I'll find out but they would have been in Melbourne. Never. Never for sale
  14. Wheels have just been finished. Repainted and touched up like brand new . Just heading out now to pick it up. Had the bucket to cam clearences redone as they everything has settled after the springs were changed. Rear diff goes in Monday. No more three wheel drive GTR when it wants to be!

  16. How on earth did you not cop an emissions test with that turbo hanging off the side of your engine is beyond me!
  17. What sort of cat did you use, Dave? Did the lack of stupid AFM's give you any grief?
  18. It's a handful of bolts. Split them and be done with it.
  19. Power, use of car, rpm limit, fuel, how much do you care of having a big fat power and or do you want a top end screamer. More info needed to help you!
  20. When you look at it, they really are an N1 block, slightly different pistons (still cast), N1 water and oil pump. Just to add insult, it's still a standard stroke crank. If you're going to be spending all this money, you'd have rocks in your head not to go some sort of stroked engine.
  21. There is nothing special about an N1 spec engine. Total waste of such a large some of money. All that money for a standard stroke crank? Rips is a good option if you want a 3.0. With the Yen how it is ATM, the Tomei (2.8) might not be THAT bad...
