  1. Blow me over with a feather. ?
  2. https://gcg.com.au/petrol-performance/performance-3/turbo-speed-sensors/borg-warner-efr-speed-sensor-detail
  3. GTX 3071 0.82 AR IWG.
  4. I’ve been told by 6 boost it will fit.
  5. I believe the dump pipe has to move back 7-8 mm. Going to dummy fit mine soon. Seems like if you want to use all of the available compressor in both the 8374 and 9180 (moreso) the 1.45 is needed.
  6. Not back yet. This week apparently.
  7. If you plan on squeezing the 9180 up there close to full turbine speed, YOU WILL NEED the 1.45 housing.
  8. A real front diff does wonders here. Quaife is recommended. Suspension bushes. Change THE LOT. Rear subframe out, every arm, diff bushes. Makes a hell of a difference!!!
  9. I bought mine when they dropped the price to $19,800. That doesn’t include the housing, shipping or assembly. It has gone back upto the “normal” price again.
  10. Bugger boost levels. Whatever gives the most Nm. 300 Nm and 2 psi is better than 150 Nm and 17 psi. But Boost is higher so must be better yeah? ?
  11. How modified is your head? How big is your exhaust? Where are the cams set? (Mine are 0/0) Finalise the tune and see what happens. Whats holding the final tune up? It’s been ages!
  12. How does VCT not running “for years” NOT get noticed? How does a car get let out the door “for years” with VCT not working? Who tunes this thing? They should be sacked! That’s so far BELOW apart! What else is wrong with the setup? The 7670 is not this “big Monster” snail and CANNOT be compared to a 8374. It’s 64 lb/min vs 79 lb/ min. The Evo 9 guys go from a stock snail, whack a 7670/1.05 on and they say it drives like the factory turbo. My 2.8 Static cam/8374/1.05 is “all in” at 3500 RPM in second. Your 2.8/VCT/7670 should be WELL earlier than that! Something is wrong!
  13. All said and done (if you get them to assemble it which was $1,700 alone), it’s about $23,500. That includes supplying your own case, shipping from SA to Sydney. Not cheap by any means.
  14. Have to ask Scott, he overseen it all. (The car isn’t at home at the moment). His whole thing was to have the hoses as short as possible/not have a MAP sensor on the board with 2 meters of vacuum hose running inside the cabin.
  15. I’m running pre/post MAP sensors and didn’t have to drill and tap anything. It can be done. Short little hoses to the source.
  16. Are you going pre/post throttle MAP sensors with the KV8?
  17. What sort of comp ratio are you going for?
  18. That’s only on E35 still isn’t it?
