  1. ^^ isn't worth the effort IMO.
  2. Hopefully the GT PRO will be in by then too. That'll give an even closer comparison.
  3. I think they had a little fiddle but ended up going back to the original settings.
  4. Seen it mate, nice car.Yep no problem. Any of the boys will be able to fill you in on the setup.
  5. It'll fit the standard plenum. The injectors squirt into the 'balance tube'.
  6. That would have been the valve springs. Full Ethanol Content Sensor. Bugger that duel map stuff.
  7. That's how I bought the exhaust. It's a Racepace twin 3 inch and I don't think they make anything with that look.
  8. Little update. I was out there yesterday and all the oil cooler plumbing has been (re)done. It was an abortion how it was thrown together before the nationals. Oil pressure sensor is now wired into the ECU so ill have some cutoff if something happens. Today's job was to stage the feed pumps. Tyres also arrived. Apart from the flex tune it's done! Pickup Friday I'd say. Here is a quick video of it idling warm. Idle speed is about 950 RPM. http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u457/Ptriffitt/431B53FB-80D9-4FBE-BF1B-4D7EA42C50DC-9363-000001CBDE8AD41C_zps6979879e.mp4 Being the "standard homo" that I am, I'm gonna leave it how it is instead of mega grumpy. It almost sounds like a standard car with an exhaust!
  9. Very nice car. I think the previous owners name was Nick. There is a decent build thread on this car on the Pommie GTR forum.
  10. Here guys. info@specialvehicle.co.uk His name is Tim. Awsome bloke to deal with. Maybe ask a few guys and get a little group buy going? There seems to be a few interested now.
  11. NP man. I think we are coming down for the next DECA. Hopefully you can make it
  12. -7's or -9's. It's not worth the effort to change the wheels over.
  13. -9's. Done.
  14. Nah mate, as you sent them to him. The tyres on the are awful! lol. I think he will do them when he puts the semi's on. That should be very soon.
  15. Any chance of throwing it on some scales, Bobby?
  16. It really is this simple; After 'response' on a 2.6 = -9 (330 rwkw or so or squeeze 350 + on E85 on a 'normal' setup) *350 plus on 98 If you can put up with a lethargic result for more top end (360-380) on a 2.6 = -5's. Stroker = -5's 3.0 with a bulldog curve = -5's -10's/RS's = in the bin. *Well setup cars are the exception.
  17. GCG are wrong. -9's are bigger.
  18. I asked the guys last night to video the last 1 or 2 E85 power runs. Hopefully they didn't forget :\
  19. It's an OS 5 speed with a billet centre plate. I would want to cope with the power. A bit of mechanical sympathy goes a long way . Bugger 1st gear but. That takes it like a whore!
  20. I'm having a pressure sensor back to the ECU, so that will be off that port you put your temp into.
