  1. I was there today. Tried that one too.
  2. Its a strange one Marcus. On the dyno it's at the same rpm every time (7000). It's not a hard cut or a "rpm cut", but a faint miss. The best way to describe it would be three softest rev limiter ever. In the road however, depending on how cool it is, it may happen earlier. Gtr Sean drove it before we left for the nats and it missed at 5800. Stupid car.
  3. Ignition problem. . It will be fixed. Even at 5000 its farken strong.
  4. 1.10.02 shifting at 5000 rpm. A lot left in it
  5. What time do we have to be at snakefield?
  6. Grr. Ignition break down. Regapping plugs. Behind me Joey is putting on my 6466 and if it fits it's going on the dyno after me.
  7. Goes on the rollers tomorrow. Gonna give it a big flogging tonight. Raised suspension so I stop rubbing my tyres... loving these R tunes. Brakes are mad. No squeal and very progressive. Still in rwd atm. It has no problems frying second from 4500 onwards even when the semis are hot. Not sure if Yavuz will play with the cam timing tomorrow as we are really strapped for time.
  8. I gave the boys a heads up. They're really nice man. I need an alignment. And set the knobs on the shocks but yeah, they ain't as bad as I remember.
  9. Haha. I doubt it mate. Would be nice
  10. It's about time!!! Quick question man. How much did you put in your sump?
  11. A photo after it rolled off gte rollers this arvo. Way too low!!!
  12. Just before its first drive after getting loaded up on the dyno to bed the rings in today. Needs a wash, hasn't had one in 9 months!
  13. Just in from the first drive. About 250 kms all up. M7 up and down the gears, back to Unigroup then through the natio. The bloody thing was wet which didn't help anything. RWD and semi's made it difficult to load it up hills. Second was useless. It feels like it's getting stronger mad stronger. Not a drop of oil out of the breathers. Tomorrow is more driving and somehow an alignment. The car is stupid low. I can't turn a corner without the rears scraping. Even loading it up a hill in 3rd and 4th rub. Shit low car!!!
  14. That's the Windsor shop. Eric just dropped his car out to Girraween this arvo.
  15. Ok updated time. 312 at 5300 or so with absolutely no timing in it. Spent about 90 mins on the dyno getting loaded like a whore. Time for some kms. Oh and bed the brakes in
  16. I wanted a back to back with this head and cam combo. The 6466 is sitting out at Unigroup making sure the desk doesn't fly away.
  17. Put it on the wall with the busted gearbox, pistons, head and oil pump. Haha
  18. Finally got on the dyno yesterday after replacing my rear turbo core. Spent about half an hour on there upto 5500 rpm. Little oil leak coming from the sandwich plate and the water thermostat doesn't look like Italy opening the whole way. It's a brand new OEM unit. FFS. Yavuz was saying it's asking more much more fuel and it's very grunty low end. Sounds promising!!!
  19. Wouldn't it depend on what the fuel system setup is? IE having 2 x 044's at full noise at idle (if they ain't setup in a staggered setup).
  20. mines going on the dyno in about 5 minutes. Just putting the airbox back on
  21. I see you're booked in tomorrow for a tune Sean!
  22. Just need to do it a few times to work out how to do it. After that it's simple. Removing a Nismo plenum is just an outright pain in the arse! Oem is so much easier than those bastards!
  23. Paul's low mounts, he used standard ported manifolds with his 2530's/RS setup?
  24. I don't know if it interests you, but I've spoken to hypertune about a low mount twin gate manifold. It's little in your face than a high mount and will make plumbing the gates in easier.
