  1. The 32 is still a 2.6 based block, mofo.
  2. The 32 smashes it for ear porn!
  3. Must be moving on from older technology that did it...
  4. Huge cams for that turbo and engine setup!
  5. Come on mate. GTR's with decent grunt suck on the street. Need cubes to push those heavy pork chops around.
  6. Where's Steveo? Here boy! Lol
  7. Shh, thats enough out of you!
  8. They do really need that extra 200 cc/4 mm stroke with the 5's.
  9. Needs more cubes. We have discussed this... . Don't be so defensive.
  10. Are you entering Nats Daveo?
  11. Is it going on a 2.6?
  12. That's the RS's coming out in you Marko .
  13. Didn't know oil pumps had a power rating.
  14. I spose only you can decide that as everyone's level of acceptable "boost threshold" and "lag" are different. Maybe hit up a few club members to take you for a spin of what you think you're after?
  15. They also said the cams in my car (When it got featured) were "custom profile PROcams". There wasn't anything "'custom" about them.
  16. Newer/better designed wheels which are lighter. How can that possibly be a bad thing? Take a walk down the pit garages of events like WTAC and take note at how many cars are using turbo's like the Z's, T88's, T78's, T51's (prob a bit big but the point still stands). I think I saw one Z one the bayside R34 that was built by CRD. If they were the 'bomb diggity', then wouldn't more people be using them? ALOT of the cars there were using Precisons. Hell, in the first garage there were two! -GTX Garrets -CEA Precisions -EFR BW's These have all been released in what, the last 2 years? All I was saying is that there are turbo's out there that have had some R&D in the last 5 years. You can't deny turbo tech (esp singles) have really come along way in the last 5 and especially 2-3 years.
  17. FFS. I was there yesterday. I could have got them and thrown them on my bill!!!!! I don't know why anyone would consider the old dog T04Z now. Technology has moved on since 1912.
  18. Or put GT RS's or 2540's on there. That will give that feeling !
  19. They will 'feel' faster (esp on a 2.6) because of the transition onto power is so much more sudden. 5's (IMHO) really need a 2.8 + OR a high comp (9.2:1 +) 2.6 to work. The jury is still out on that result. 1/4 trap speeds don't add up. On the street the smaller turbo's will be faster and depending on what you're into more fun too. Coming out of a second gear corner and waiting for the snails to 'wakeup' SUCKS! You're halfway up the hill and it's "here we go!!!"... then you have to brake..... But it will look better on a dyno, so your pub talk will be a winner!
  20. Time will tell James. There was a hell of a lot of PT's at WTAC and I didn't hear of any failures. But surprised they're not watercooled though. Must be some reason for that!
  21. Any pics of the surge tank Brad? Got a mate that might be interested in one.
  22. Fullboost is a very misleading phrase. What is fullboost? 10, 15, 25, 40 psi? Twin scroll or just normal?
  23. I've been through 3 sets of coils with that stupid thing. One set lasted less than 2000 kms. Ripped it off and no problems. The Unigroup box is a ignitor replacement.
  24. + a little bit more!
