  1. If it doesn't drive as well as the baby twins it will be ripped off straight away lol
  2. Daniel, what about a set of Racepace front pipes? Twin 3 inch into a 4 inch merge, tuned length and a decent price too. The welds are just sex!!!!
  3. It's a Ross balancer and the "tooth wheel" is a trigger wheel so the timing isn't taken from the CAS anymore. Oh you never know what's gonna happen with cams .
  4. Bobby, the box is a OS 1-3 gearset with the big dick input shaft. It was behind the engine before. It got pulled down and put back together since. Nice box but really needs a stroker to work.... Orrrr have smaller turbos! I can't see myself revving any harder than 8000 RPM. I found myself with the -5's changing at 6500 and just ride the torque. See where the power drops off but 8000 RPM will be the shift point with the hard cut set at 8600-8800 JUST so I don't hit it.
  5. Turbo of the devil!
  6. Here is something interesting Here I was stressing about valve to piston clearence with the 1.5mm OS valves. Now with a 0.9 mm head gasket (smallest I could find), squish of 29 thou and cams with over 10.8 mm of lift the clearence on the intake was 2.2 mm and OVER 3 mm on the exhaust. I could have not relieved them So much for Tomei's "Over 10.8 mm relieve the pistons" GRRRRRRRRRRRR
  7. LOL Trailer to dyno, throw it on.... let Yavuz do his thing, go and put some kms on it (400-500) then give the f**ker HEAPS! Better crack 450 on those little baby -5's.... The the big sucker goes on!
  8. Its been done before. Racepace 2.9.
  9. Also picked up my Nismo intake plenum, AFM delete pipes and my surge tank today. I had them sprayed black because I wanted it to took "stock". Well that sorta changed with the single idea .
  10. HUUUGE update. Everything is bolted up, torqued down. Thats it, it's all done! Nitty gritty details of the engine are as follows; Piston to bore clearence is 2 thou 6 thou deck height with a 35 thou thick (0.9mm) gives a squish of 29 thou (Bobby. A bit tighter than what you said but its close enough) Comp ratio is smack on 9.0:1 CC of the head is 66 CC Piston CC is - 12.2 CC Top ring gap is: 16 thou Second ring gap is: 18 thou Mains clearance is: 2.1 thou Big ends is: 1.88 thou That little prick the bolt fairy has moved some bolts and nuts!!! . Sump to bolt nuts and bolts, oil pump, water pump bolts are MIA! Ordered them all from Nissan on Wednesday and luckily most are in the country. Pick up on Monday morning.
  11. Nothing arrived yet Marcus. EDIT: What a little weapon
  12. Because the last tune was close to 430 RWKW. Different head and a few different mods I wanna see what these little things can do. They should crack 450 without too much trouble.
  13. Wouldn't have a clue man. Give them a call and get a quote.
  14. I don't think anyone did. There was 2 6466's a few 6262's one or two of the ones under it and some pussy thing.
  15. A tad under $2,500. There is no journal bearing option with the 6466 (yet)
  16. That's the one. Hopefully crack 500 on sub 25 pound... Then turn the wick up. Will have to wait, the 5's are going on first .
  17. I went through my tuner (Unigroup). It's a 6466 CEA 0.81 twin scroll. The order was for 7 turbos all up so we got a little discount. I'm sure they will have no issue ordering one in for you.
  18. I read somewhere your right foot does a good job at controlling RPM.
  19. rods and pistons haven't been done yet.
  20. I don't know HOW far it was out... but two holes that deep is't .4 of a gram.
  21. Arrived yesterday within 2 weeks of finally placing the order.
  22. 6466 arrived. Good thing Steveo labeled it. Definitely know its mine!
  23. Just got home from Harris and bit of progress today. Cams are in without the need for a tunnel bore. Thank god. After 6 hours of messing around with caps the cams turn like a mofo. More work done to the accept an even larger cam if we decide to play around in the future. Relieved for upto 11.5 mm using a 32 mm base circle. Crank got balanced which was something that Mik didn't do back in 2005 when it first went together. The pictures show how far it was out from Tomei. Block about to accept it's insides. Girdle just chilling. Tomorrow when my main studs arrive it will be dummied up. Might have to take a bee's dick off the top of the block to get to 9.0:1.
  24. Whats the current list of mods done to the car?
