  1. Two tenths of nothing really. It's a GTR, they weren't designed to be stump pullers at 2000 RPM. Stroke it and add VCT. That will fix it!
  2. The box is 'close ratio' box. That's why first is taller. You don't drop as many rpm between changes. There's not many places where you would full noise in 5th gear. Eastern Creek main straight maybe and Phillip Island straight. Put at stock 5th gear in, it will be fine. Also, buy the OS Giken centre plate.
  3. At 8000 RPM the standard 5th goes to 310, the OS goes to 290... Give or take a little due to tyres and whatnot.
  4. I'd hope so seeing that stoich for E85 is 9.76:1!
  5. High 10's. Is that on petrol AFR's?
  6. Yeah.... Fly your flag more! haha
  7. You take that back! ATM i'm waiting on everyone else. Yavuz has one of my JUN cams, have recieved a call for the engine/order head gasket (as we dont know what size we will need) and "balance tube" is in Japan being tickled. Hurry up dammit!
  8. HKS do a set Daniel. I have them on my own car. http://www.nengun.com/hks/air-flow-less-adapter
  9. Graph please!!!
  10. Here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/332681-bosch-040-044-fuel-pumps-from-just-195-delivered/page__pid__6267499#entry6267499
  11. Care to expand on this mate? You get some people wanting them to be the mother of their children and others hating them.
  12. Nengun Greenline Just Jap Anyone that google spits out when you put in 'Bosch 044' or 'Nismo intank pump'
  13. Sydney is warmer than Mexico. We need stuff like 15 litre sumps and 3 fuel pumps.
  14. Seeing that many guys will be going down this path, a parts list might be in order. - 1 x Ethanol Content Sensor (GM part - Made by Siemens) http://www.zeitronix...r/order.htm#ECA - 1 x wiring harness from sensor to ECU -or- to Digital -> Analogue ethanol content analyser. - 1 x ECU. Link, Vipec, Autronic SM4 (Unigroup got that working on one of their cars), Haltech, Motec would all have a ECU that can do it. Power FC CANNOT! - 1 x Extra wiring harness in the Link G4's case. (Order this when ordering your Link) - Some extra Fuel lines, braided lines, fittings etc to hook up the sensor to the Fuel lines. I put mine on the return line and have a "tee" in and out branching off the main return. Works fine. * Optional is the Ethanol Display. It's $200. I find it handy, especially when tuning, not to mention it's interesting to see what you're actually getting from the pump!
  15. For E85 and E0? No. Between E85 and E '70' that Caltex's "Flex fuel". Yes. I did that for 12 months myself.
  16. Joey, seeing that it was Yavuz'a first go it was done a bit cheaper... It's not like they're 'start fresh maps'. I can't give a dollar figure. Too long ago.
  17. Link G4 plug in. However, Autronic SM4 and the Haltechs (not sure if it's model specific) can do it too. I'd assume the Motec's can too but tr amount of people running these are next to none. Is this going on a GTR? If so, by the time you buy the FC and AFM's you're a few hundred $ below a G4 anyway. It's a no brainer
  18. Place the power FC in the bin and buy a ECU that can accept an Ethanol Content Sensor. Most if not all decent ECU's will do it. ECU alone, it cost roughly $700 for the hardware (lines, sensor, display, fittings). You then have the dyno time (which is where the money is). My own car, I think we had 7 different maps which and it adjusted to suit. No laptops, no plugging this in and checking that, just fill and go! We started off with a E85 map and kept adding petrol. Every 15% of ethanol we would save a map.
  19. You sound like a broken record. Why don't you finish your car so we can all see what this 'big displacement skyline can do'. FFS!
  20. Nick, I don't know man. I said 6 weeks... 6 weeks ago. Can't be too much longer. I've lost a little motivation at the moment but I'm sure that will change when the engine is 2 meters in the air!
  21. Just waiting in the engine now. Can't do much without it. Won't take long once I get that sucker back!
