  1. Seen the results of 3.0 with RS's and -5's on the same engine. Its not even fair, actually it's a joke. If they're lacking top end it means your setup was ineffecient/shit. 2530's/-5's lacking top end? Rightio. 450 on my engine was only a intake can twist away but I didn't want to loose midrange. My 2.8 results are enough. 125 kw extra through the midrange and 25 more up top. Gav made more midrange with 5's and made the same up top (the went onto make 620 rwhp). It's a discussion/argument that's been had many times. "but I'll feel you in with my peak Powah". Yep.... Average power > peak power. Whatever makes you happy...
  2. Got rid of the rubbish RS's. Would not go back to them if they paid me!
  3. So really it's a 3 inch exhaust.
  4. That's what I said man. Area under the curve. Peak numbers are pub talk!
  5. 2.6 = SS's/-9's. Without a big dollar head and setup. 2.8 and bigger = -5's. It's that simple, unless you're a nuckle dragger 'drag racer' that likes 'peaky power' which feels quicker.... Then they get smashed around twisties by a car that has 100 KW less peak figure. Average power will belt peaky power every time AND be easier to drive.
  6. If you want lag, go the -10's/RS's ALLLLLLLL the junk result you want!
  7. Jez, for shuts and giggles overlay your E85 results with 9's.
  8. I'm surprised they didn't say 'single' and hang up! Haha
  9. You wouldn't know, you have a decent ECU
  10. What ECU do you have?
  11. Got a photo Brad?
  12. Sarcasm mate. I should have put a '' in there haha
  13. Do a search on -10's/RS's on here. Don't do it!!!! What about GTX versions? Gav just made 500 KW with the 63 mm versions. It does mean custom intake piping.
  14. How 'big' is a 'big' turbo(s)?
  15. The Powah of the ID
  16. Try the TT pipe mod. Helps ALOT!!! Actuators setup correctly?
  17. Well they are 2225 cc squirters... AKA 'Fire hoses' . Dunno, don't care. They work and do a damn fine job of it. . There is a video on YouTube of a standard integra with ID 2000's in it idling like a kitten. I think at max power it used a whopping 12% Duty. Haha!! There is another one with a STi I think it is, same result. Don't forget the Sards and the like are what, 15 year old design? These are pretty fresh. 5 years ago the thought of running a 1000 cc injector on a street car would have been an outrageous idea (unless you had an absolute beast), but with fuels like E85 you need to go pretty big. Hell, I'm at 71% DC on 2225's. Slightly off topic here .
  18. That's a little hard to say. On a fairly low 'E %' (say 10%) I would get close to 500 kms on the freeway to a tank.
  19. I would assume so. I'd have to double check though.
  20. No I haven't. Maybe I should seeing that they are out of the car.
  21. What this guy said!
  22. Mine seem to work just fine. Idle and drive better than my old Sard 800's and after 18 months of E 85 use, look just like new. Even watching the wideband on constant load/throttle, the 2000's AFR's don't 'jump around' anywhere near as much as the old Sards.
  23. What's wrong with the 2000's design?
  24. Realistically, -5's need a stroker to be 'street friendly'.
  25. Yavuz, Steve and I were talking about this exact topic. The short story was; ID's flow very very close to one another. The 'standard' items need some mixing and matching. Came straight from the horses mouth!
