  1. No lines are needed. Make sure your fuel pump(s) are up to the task aswell as injectors and a tuner that knows what he is doing.
  2. So does that mean 300 V with a regular change interval is fine to use?
  3. I have a sump full of 300 V that I have done a track day, driven home from Vic and a few bits and pieces on. All up about 2000 kms. Gonna get it tested and see what it returns. I am yet to see 'jelly' like clumps of come out of my sump with 300 V and Ethanol based fuel like some claim.
  4. I find it does. Going from low counts of ethanol (so say E10) and putting a full tank of E85 in the engine becomes so much more alive. When I did a back to back on my old setup, it came on about 300 RPM sooner (boost) and made more power everywhere.
  5. After 6 months of being on E85 I checked my filters and they were clean as.
  6. Stock pump for a road car. N1 pump = issues.
  7. A little bee noise adds character. With the seats in and driving you hardly notice the noise from the drivers seat. At lights it's only slight. I wouldn't worry about it.
  8. Sold pending payment!
  9. Yeah it would be nice.... and hopefully make up the 7.3 mm of stroke compared to the 3 litre.
  10. Yeah, as Steve said above. Ill take a photo tomorrow and upload it. I'll stand 15 M away to give you an idea. If I just got off my arse and sprayed it back you would be hard pressed to see it.
  11. That does seem low. Is there other issues? Exhaust big enough? I doubt it's the turbo's fault....

The CDI method, capacity discharge ignition, provides maximum voltage by transferring all stored energy in the capacitor to the ignition coil so that the ignition current can buildup quickly, thus making the Twin Power very effective in the higher revs where a normal spark would tend to diminish. This strong rapid spark prevents the high rpm ignition miss that reduces peak power. The transistorized method generates high voltage by using transistors to cut off current to the coil, thus allowing for a long energy discharge. This longer spark duration allows the Twin Power to improve lower RPM throttle response and torque. The combination of the CDI and the transistor method incorporates two distinct systems into one high performance unit, hence the designation of Twin Power. The Twin Power produces a spark output that is typically 1.5-2.5 stronger than of the stock ignition system and consumes about 35% less power input than other ignition amplifiers. Each compact and attractive Twin power unit is constructed of durable anodized aluminum and sealed to prevent corrosion from moisture. General wiring harnesses are included in each unit to aid in installation and mounting. Vehicle Specific wiring harnesses are also available for certain models Dimensions: All Twin Power Units, except for DLI II, are 91mm (L) x 80mm (W) x 34.5mm (H) and weighs Approximately 430g (~15.2oz)" Cheers.
  13. No idea what the Pro Fab tank looks like. I can ask who did it if you're interested?
  14. I like to call it character, but beehive/hornets nest is good too.
  15. Its about 5 litres in capacity, Nismo "lift" pump (as that what was my intank before the surge tank was installed) and 2 X 044's to feed the engine. I have a Fuel pressure Gauge sitting on my steering column and at no point have I seen pressure drop either on the track or on the street. I took the car to Unigroup and said "I want a 5 litre surge tank with 2 x 044's, go" and that's what I got. It may look like it hangs low in the photo's but it definately doesn't.
  16. I'll throw a few pics of mine up at some point today.
  17. Dave, is John's car on E 85? Has it been stripped down after running the Penrite?
  18. I have been using 300V in my E85 fueled GTR for the past 13 months. Trackday's the lot. I just change it more often. The rumours with the 300V and E85 range from "your oil will turn into jelly like its just come out of the fridge" to "It just breaks down quicker". The current oil in there has done a few kms so I will get this lot and get it tested. A common oil that gets recommended is the Penrite "sin".
  19. Plug in Links.
  20. Are you going to relieve the head for bigger lift or stick with drop in's only?
  21. What? You mean huge duration isn't good for a street car?
  22. Mine does it too pulling away from lights. Might go to to 10kg/m for a second or two then back to zero.
  23. You have to buy the buckets anyway. It's only a little bit more.
