  1. * Adjust Shims may be required for some models. * Tomei Lifters are required for MID, HI, SUPER HI types. * Uprated Valve Springs are also required for MID, HI, SUPER HI types. Mid = 10.25, High = 10.8 and super high = 11.5. All of which are "Procams" Straight off the Tomei website. They have a smaller base circle. Thats like buying a 18 inch tyre and trying to fit it on a 19 inch rim. I spose if you want to run a huge shim then yeah, it would work.
  2. FFS. Tomei say themselves you must change the buckets/lifters. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/efr-set_camshaft_rset.html Scroll down and look at the procam section
  3. James, your thing sounds unreal smashing down the straight. Very RB.... but with a little curve ball
  4. Need new buckets. Head needs to be relieved. I have them in my own car.
  5. Some people only see the big fat figure up the top..... not the area under the curve.
  6. My GTR was tuned on united E85 (and according to my ethanol sensor that is E 90). I have ran anything from united to Caltex 'flex fuel' over the last 12 months and never had a issue. Take that how you will, but that is my experience.
  7. ^ That looks like an older model of a metal jacket, well mine doesnt have any blue. Ring up the man and ask.

  9. Not sure. What model of balancer do you have?
  10. Price on 4 285/30 x 18 to 2199
  11. Sell it Marcus. Ebay that shit. I felt the difference and it was awsome but it didn't work as it should! Can't wait for this head! Bring it on!!!!!!!!! Oh. Don't get me thinking. VCam would be UNREAL! The difference between RS's and -5's was just amazing.... V cam ontop would be unreal..... What about a 3.0, V cam and -5's.! Say hello to area under the curve!
  12. So damn tempting. You may get a call very soon
  13. Where did you get done?
  14. $5,500, $7500, $10,000, $15,000. Does anyone know what the actual fine is, or is it chinese whispers?
  15. Lol. Never heard of those "super exhaust sniffers". Yes they are illegal, but stay away from known hotspots, dont drive like twit and you should be right.
  16. Within the next few weeks. Just to turn the EBC on and screw some boost into it. See what it makes before the new head arrives.
  17. Ian, I remember you saying something about te EJ's at the Nats. Thats a good little something I can do when it's on the dyno next. Take a short movie with the Cam gear cover off to show how much the belt flops around. It's actually quite disturbing! Out of sight out of mind right?
  18. Hey man. Still have it in the garage. Got it balanced by some mob, put it back in. It was better but not perfect. The stock one is back in the car now. I sent an email to ACPT and got nothing back. To be honest I forgot all about it.
  19. Either ring Unigroup and speak to Yavuz or ring Ross from Ross balancers. Want me to PM numbers?
  20. It's just a box to convert the signal so the Power FC can understand it.
  21. What we meant to do while it was on the dyno was to do a run on the OEM CAS and flick a switch to take the timing off the trigger and compare graphs. It will be back out there for more boost and to start using the EBC. I will come back with results. The tuner helped design this kit. There has been alot of revision's with it.
  22. AFM's or not it's the same kit
  23. Going from 3.0 3.5 is almost 36% more area inside the pipe. Going to a 4 inch is close to 80%.
  24. Huntley. Funny you bring that up, I went for a drive and did it on Sunday (Nice and slow as it is a "public road"). The next Huntley is in early Feb. Bring it on. Lock it in . Ratio's. It's alot more flexible now. I suppose thats what comes with more area under the curve. There is no need to rev the guts out of it. At Winton, alot of my changes were at 6 - 6,500 RPM just because I didn't need to rev it.
