  1. I just noticed how early he grabs 3rd!!!! The only thing with my run from half way up is linked to my Facebook =(. Ill throw it up anyway My FB
  2. Pitty we can't take passengers!
  3. Haha. Yeah. Those guys in pupose built hillclimb machines.... IE Twin engined crap, on slicks, areo. Yep we still beat them. Stipped out commo's with cages and slicks.... 2-3 seconds behind. The commentator reckons I have an auto box! What a loser! FFS. We have to get that vid on here to show these guys what it's about!
  4. I was speaking to a guy and told me the story about the guy who holds the record. He was saying this guy used to race on ice... ICE. Yeah... we have no hope! You know that little F1 looking thing. That did a 21.xx. What a weapon it is. Great day out though.
  5. I would almost go out and say big big balls is not whats needed here. I think my best last time was 24.72.... but I was having traction issues in 3rd gear. Just couldnt put it to the ground! So much fun though
  6. Just the note it puts out...it sounds like a vent to atmo external gate but much deeper and angry. Very strange!
  7. *facepalm* Good, cheap and GTR dont belong in the same sentance together. Whats 'cheap'? Whats the budget?
  8. Your right there.... You dont even know what mine has under the bonnet when its on boost. NOTHING like an RB.
  9. Racecar is different. For the street a nice fat twist curve rules... Can't always have 5k + on board.
  10. ID 1600's 2000's. Do it. You will never have to think/worry about it again. Sell the 700's and the changeover will not be that bad.
  11. Yeah right! I have said it before and I will say it again.... After driving your car (and I have since driven Steveo's) you would be silly NOT to go that way. They rev, they do everything a 26 based block does... just better. You only have to butcher the car if you have a 32... the other two is no real issue. I will say this though... if you have the engine out and WANT to keep the original block you have rocks in your head by staying the standard stroke crank. 77.7 mm at the very minimum. It makes the car so much nicer to drive!
  12. RIPS, Hi Octane, Trust, Racepace or I am sure any metal fab could make one for you. Personally I would go to one of the RB specialists.
  13. Grant. As good of a result that people have good power with stock dumps...there would have to be more to be made with a larger... Ie tomei, midori dump pipe.
  14. Shit. I mean per turbo!!! $1070 per turbo. Can't edit from I phone.
  15. Gcg.com.au....$1070 a set of 5's, -SAU discount of 10%..
  16. Can get them cheaper in aus anyway.... Esp if your a club member.... -9's man. With the 5's you will have more power... but a slower car.
  17. Haha. Interested in a set of GT RS's? Going cheap
  18. Im running ID 2000's and they are fine.....
  19. Dumps (Midori) will arrive within the next week or so. Turbo's will be bought very soon..... Not yet but soon
  20. How much power you making? I have made (and so have others) made over 400 rwkw with the factory GTR airbox.

  22. That quote was the wrong way around. If you get tuned on the United juice (E85) and you throw the Caltex juice in which can be E70 you will run RICHER AFR's as there is more petrol in the fuel. As I said man.... I have run both and have even done a hillclimb event on most of a tank full of the Caltex stuff... Not a issue at all. If i was to do a trackday at EC of course I would make the effort to drive to Rozelle and stock up on the wicked Jungle Juice.
  23. Marko, Mine has been tuned on the united stuff and has run both that and the Caltex stuff AFTER the tune. Both have copped a beating its just that my tune is not on the very edge of what can be had. Yes when I can I do make the effort to go to Rozelle. How often do you drive it? Just take a jerry can. No big deal. If your REALLY worried about it... get it tuned on United and if you have to fill up with Caltex just pull a few degrees of timing out of it.... Remember on the Caltex stuff you will be running a tad richer (as there is more petrol). Man up... do it. You wont be going back.
