  1. Hahaha. Yeah. Just steer the car out of the driveway in reverse with the throttle..... Sooo much easier then turning te steering wheel!!!!!
  2. You can't "set" GTR's to a set % front and rear. They are not like evo's or a wrx.
  3. post a photo of your car or give us the build date!
  4. Like having too much low down grunt you have to be a little more careful with the throttle? I think im in a decent position to comment on this topic. 2.8 stroker, GT block, GT RS's, E85. To sum it up I want to put my mega dollar engine in the trash after driving N1GTR and MarkoR1's car. Sorry , but the 2.8's just do not compare.
  5. Oops... I just re read your first post.... Just repeated what you already knew...
  6. Looks like all your water lines will have be be braided too.... It will be interesting to see a back to back graph!
  7. +35? Would make it look like a GTST. 9.5 and nothing less than a + 12 on it. Thats the Nismo recommended offset for 33 and 34. Some people run 10.5 inch wide with a + 12
  8. Hmm ultimate RB? Wet sump in the bin and dry sump it!
  9. Unless its on a 3L + I wouldnt go near them. I have RS's (pretty much -10's) on a 2.8 and they will be replaced with a set of -5's. Stupid choof choof turbo's
  10. Are the turbo's still for sale?
  11. I have pulled my stock plenum off 3 times with the engine in the car..... however thats in a R33 GTR. What I can suggest is go down to bunnings and grab yourself 3 or 4 12 mm $1 spanners..... they have a box there with cheap shit spanners..... heat them up and bend them. It can be done. It took me 4 days to get my stock one off.... fkn flamin mongrel of a job. To fit a Nismo plenum..... you would rather put a fire out on your face with a fork!
  12. better not have been mine!!!!! haha
  13. I dont think you would make your current power. A set of ID 1600's would be spot on.
  14. The previous owner of my car (Mik) first built the engine with the Tomei stroker in the stock 05U block which was a 1997 block and cracked between 3 and 4 (370 rwkw IIRC). I have heard rumours over the years the last of the 33 blocks wernt as strong as the earlier ones.... He then pulled it back out and chucked the internals into a GT block. No problems since. Now I know a GT block is a heap stronger then the stocker but im sure if there was a issue with how Mik built the engine it would have cracked this bad boy too. Its done a few trackdays and basically gets flogged everytime it gets started.
  15. Well I'm making 402 rwkw using ID 2000's ( which are actually 2250cc) at 52% duty cycle. Calculate that back it's roughly 1170cc I'm using.... Soooo not very much if that's anything to go by
  16. Is the the pipe kit that replaces the 'twin turbo' pipe?
  17. Looks unreal! Steveo hasn't shut up about it!
  18. Grrr... No consistancy there.... Some cars have bigger inlet and some cars bigger exhuasts!
  19. Will you post the manifolds to Sydney?
  20. Haha. He is a unit! Yeah I realise that. Thats why I said "I realise they are two different machines".
  21. I'll throw up my little 2 cents with this 4WD vs RWD garbage. On unigroups dyno a few years ago I made 370 RWKW. One week later I made 361 AWKW on Rigoli's dyno at a Dyno day. I realise they are different dynos's and stuff but they are my results.
  22. I was looking at the 260's @ 10.8mm. Thoughts? The Gibson cams are HUUGE. I wonder why they went for such huge duration?
  23. Matt. Have you tried any different cams combo's? Why the 264's @ 9.7?
  24. Marko, Head is ported.... how good of a job is anyones guess. Does it match the turbo's and cams? I have NFI Cams as Ash has said a very touchy subject. Tangomatt used baby cams (Ok he had vcam but meh) Marcus used 264's @ 9.7 and got a mega result I am using 270's @ 10.25 and it comes on later and makes less grunt. Gav is using 272's (i think) Ah we could go back and forth about this.
