  1. Im damn sure the 25 pulleys are 3PK and the 26's are 4PK... so no it wont work
  2. I pulled off my front pipe on my car and heat wrapped it. I know when I am a passenger my right leg used to get very warm. Since then it is not as bad. Just do it. It wont/cant hurt!

  4. Whats the damage for the crank mount pick up? Do they run off all balancers or is it off the flywheel?
  5. I 99% sure when the previous owner built the engine he chucked a new CAS at it. Maybe I should replace it and see what happens? Is there any way of insulating the CAS from 'noise'?
  6. Im running a Power FC and Steve is running a.... ummm... haltech? Motec? either way it is not a power fc.
  7. Ash. Seeing your a Melb/Racepace customer they must have come across this issue in their cars. I knew Steveo asked them but as far as I know they never got back to him. Seeing that they are the king dick of street/track orientated GTR's you would think they might have a solution for this? Its a very annoying problem on a big built engine. Not only because you cant get 100% power out of it but also what if its out THAT much that it pop's the engine. There goes ALOT of cash!

  9. I had this same problem when mine was getting tuned by Yavuz. I'm pretty sure Unigroup themselves are working on some sort of crank trigger but it is not finished yet. Its a bitch of a problem yet not much has been said about it.

  12. Dont HKS have 3 different cam profiles? Which one would be the ideal one for a -5 setup? Matt has the smallest version.... But then HKS recommend for a RS/TO4Z setup the biggest duration and lift setup in the V-Cam they half....

  14. Well I have 270's @ 10.25 so more duration and less lift. I only rev mine to 8 - 8.5 so i could get away with the 260's...

  16. Rightio. Another cheeky question. Would a 90 mm exhaust from the front pipes back (twin 3 inch into a single 90 outlet) be big enough.... or do we "really" need a 4 inch. 3.5 inch (90 mm.. close enough) vs a 4 inch (101.6mm)
  17. I think this thread will answer every question for you -5 vs -10's Im sick of the -10's/RS's on my car. On a 3.0 they are the bomb... 2.8's just dont cut it.
  18. Its just funny what a little bit of extra capacity does. Then you have the theory or small duration and large lift.... IE a 260 @ 10.8mm. Throw Marks car built by HKS in the mix and that has 1.5 OS valves with relatively small cams (264 @ 9.7) and all the fruit and makes the numbers.Hmm. Ah you coming up again? Might have to get a few of us together and have 'one or two' beers *cough* haha
  19. ^^ Stock cams. I have been thinking about this a little over the lst few weeks. Are the cams alot of us guys put in too large? Everyone has their own views on this but alot of people are getting awsome results with cams on the smaller scale!

  21. I was thinking about the midori fronts.... but if your going to have a 4 inch exhaust you might be better off with a set from racepace (IE Tangomatt's car, page 3) Ash. Do you know if they would make up a set and sell them by themselves. From what Steve has told me they do business a little different to most places. I couldnt even find a phone number!

  23. Thats awsome. Lets see what it makes on E85! A few little questions while im thinking of them. Are you still using the factory CAS or did HKS use some sort of crank trigger unit? I am getting CAS noise above 6000 RPM or so. Are you still using the factory airbox? I can't remember. As for the block.... I already have one in my car.... It would be greedy to have 2 haha.
