  1. Yeah fair call. Both surges are are about 5 litres. Nismo pump feeding both i think (well mine atleast). Now thats not exacatly under pressure like it in feeding the engine... so in theory it should be able to flow more. Injectors are ID 2000's but really i shouldnt be any higher then 60% duty (but hey i could be proved wrong) So 60% of 2000 is 1.2 x 6 = 7.2 litres a minute. Steve and I sorta had a play around with figures today. We came up with 518 RWKW. Obviously that is VERY rough but I think both of us are going to be touch and go with 2 pumps. Stupid E85 and its mega thirst!
  2. Hey guys. Steve (N1 GTR) and I were discussing this today while we were running the lines to my surge tank. I understand not many people will be able to answer this as it is a shitload of power but, does anyone know the limit of 2 X bosch 044's on E85? We are both running very similar setups.... although I am a 2.8 and Steve is a 3.0 litre. Same cams and turbo's. Steve is currently making 455 RWKW at 24 psi.... My car will be on the dyno tomorrow and Friday shoving 2 bar down its throat and hopefully making 500 rwkw +..... if the pumps can flow that much. Will be interestng either way.
  3. Well I aint pulling that plenum off for you to try. Rather put a fire out on my face with a fork! The cooler has made a decent difference. Definately not as lethargic as it was. We are starting at 8. So anytime after that. You remember the house? Went and got all the fittings and hoses tonight.... My arse got raped!

  8. I'll throw in my 2 cents here. I own a high comp Tomei 2.8 with a set of decent cams with a pair of GT RS's hanging off the side of it. After driving a 3 litre with -10s (MarkoR1's) and being in N1GTR's car with a very similar setup I would not even look at the 2.6, 2.7 or 2.8 engines. It almost wants me to throw mine in the bin and build a 3 litre + engine. All that rubbish you hear about "30's dont rev" is exactly that.... a load of crap.

  13. Brilliant looking car man. Big thumbs up for spraying the front lip black. IMO the white needs to be broken up. My car is a S3.... and has a S2 lip on it Question with the wheels. Did you have to roll the guard at all? I got 19 X 9.5 + 12 TE's on mine and my rears rub a bee's penis.

  17. The increased Duty on your injectors is because of the E85's need for more per unit of air... roughly 30%. Its good to see how it has more grunt everywhere. How does it drive?

  20. The old oil compatibilty issue with E85. From my understanding the "ester" base in the 300V oils is a big no no. Something to do with it breaking down with the alcohol in the ethanol fuels. Some people say its fine... other people say it wont work... then you have clowns up at Autobarn saying that "no oil in Australia will tolerate E85.... Your car is going to turn into a bucket of mush as soon as you start running that crap" When my car gets tuned I want to get a oil analysis done with Motul 300V 15W-50 (what I have always run in my GTR) and put this stupid yes, no, maybe, what if bullshit to bed!
