Spoke to Yavuz last night. Steve, he mentioned you had issues with the CAS when the big power runs were being done about 6000 rpm? Did you just leave it or did you do that harmonic balancer thingo? He said its about 2K to do... Not too keen on that!

Valve and valve caps. Not nuts man -
Its all done VIA the hand controller. I scrapped it and went and got myself a Blitz Duel solenoid item. Much much better. The FC unit only controls the duty.. not the gain. Much better controllers out there.

Hey guys. Its time to get rid of some stuff out of the garage. All items are located in Georges Hall, Sydney (Near Bankstown) apart from the N1 block which is at Beverly Hills, Sydney. Buyer pays postage. Pickup is preffered. Nismo fuel pressure regulator. Like new. Was on my car for about 10,000 kms. I only changed it because I went to a duel entry fuel rail and a sard reg. $110 N1 (24U) Block. I was going to use this for a build but I bought my car with a GT block in it. I will never use it. $1990 Greddy water pump pully. Aluminium, pretty blue and very light. I bought the set so I have used the alt and PS pulleys but I am using the big ATi harmonic balancer which needs a smaller pulley $50 Standard second hand RB26 coils. Done about 80,000 kms $40 Rays blue valves and valve caps. I got these when I bought my TE37’s. I don’t like the blue, would rather the black. Never been used. $40 Heat wrap. 4 rolls at 1 inch by what looks like 15 metres. It could be 25metres but its all sealed in its plastic and i dont want to unroll it to measure it. These came with the Tomei Expreme manifolds. $70 OS Giken 5th gear. Brand new. When I rebuilt my box I bought the 5 speed but I decided to stick with the standard ratio. $290 Standard OEM 5 speed centre plate. Came out of a box that was 11,000 kms old. $20 Second hand Tomei manifolds. There are a few cracks in them. Might be worth getting them fixed up and throw them on. Done 15,000 kms. $50 Goodridge braided brake lines. ADR Approved. FRONTS ONLY! Bought these thinking they would replace the factory metal line. I went 345mm rotors up the front and it was easier just to get a line that went the whole way. Never been used. $100 Copper radiator. Its roughly 45mm thick. Works very well. On the track with 370 rwkw water temps got to about 85. Barely moved. Has a very small leak where the drain plug is. Easily fixed. $100

A bit off topic. Steve, was it your car that had the surge tank mounted underneath the car?
-
Tip top! Deffo on the things to do list!
-
Yeah the 1500's would be right on! It will be interesting to see the difference between yours and mine. Same tuner, same fuel, same cams. I have higher compression but not as much capacity... but a ported head. Ha. That hill. Yeah I will admit that it was quite fun going up that on the way there. A look in the rear vision mirror and you could see a fair bit of black smoke hanging about. haha. Im not sure about the jumping on the anchors at WSID. "11.4 @ 94 mph". haha. But yeah. Mass boot out for sure. We just have to all get our cars sorted and tee up a Wednesday night.
-
Thats a damn fast MPH for that power. Well it seems it. Nice time man
-
Wow. That makes my 11.6 with 370rwkw look like shit. Having said that my best 60 foot was over 2 seconds. I suppose that's what happens when you dont want to pop another box! What was your 60 foot and MPH?
-
Thats interesting with the injectors. I have read that "whatever you think is enough with E85... go the next size up". Next time we go I'll def give you and Marko a yell. Although I would love to do EC. Wakefield espeically with the power that our cars make I find you spend too much time in the lower gears. It did feel great grabbing 4th at 8500 hauling arse down the main straight! With the box. Be careful. I broke mine on the street with not a very hard shift at all. It was only 11,000 kms old. Was not impressed. Now I have a OS box to try and break. Knock on wood that does not happen! Maybe we should all go on the same night and have 3 GTR's getting booted out 1 after another. haha

My cooler has been sitting in my room for months. I am just so damn lazy to put it on. Definately was not me at TC Bro's. I went to wakefield and cracked both my front rotors. My car is up on stands... got its new rotors on but just waiting for pads to arrive to chuck them on. As for the injectors. Cost? Pfft. The GT-R is the biggest money pit ever... Whats a little bit more. I got to (well want to) run a surge tank... but I might stick that under the car. Not too keen on having it in the boot. Yavuz. Yeah his tunes are (well my current one) is rock solid. Never knocks or carry's on. This E85 tune I want to see what she makes. I will be getting a 98 tune done also. The E85 conversion is a bit of a comparison done for a Uni final assignment. So it should be good to get a DIRECT comparison between the 2 fuels on the same dyno, tuner, car. I dare say my exhaust is going to hold me back a tad. At it's smallest point it is 80 mm. We will see what happens. On a side note. I did hear on the radio today that by next month Caltex will have 10 servo's in Sydney with E85. Thats tip top! I knew it was going to be by the end of the year.... but its handy with them being around so soon! Any idea of when the exhaust will be ready? Would love to see it at WSID one night.
-
Any chance you can list what you have done to your car?
-
Better hope they didn't take a photo of your using your phone while driving!!!! haha. Maybe I should shutup. Might give them idea's for the next "Super safety camera of the year to save the world".
-
Sweet as. Gives me some hope that the ID2000's will be sweet with the dinosaur PFC.

Marko what is your ECU? CBF going through threads to find it. lol
