  3. Yeah the 1500's would be right on! It will be interesting to see the difference between yours and mine. Same tuner, same fuel, same cams. I have higher compression but not as much capacity... but a ported head. Ha. That hill. Yeah I will admit that it was quite fun going up that on the way there. A look in the rear vision mirror and you could see a fair bit of black smoke hanging about. haha. Im not sure about the jumping on the anchors at WSID. "11.4 @ 94 mph". haha. But yeah. Mass boot out for sure. We just have to all get our cars sorted and tee up a Wednesday night.
  4. From memory I think they are 19 X 9.5 + 12. On a 32 you would need a little camber and roll the guards. I have that size on my 33 GTR and i need to add a bee's dick more camber on the rear. They are rubbing at the moment.

  6. Wow. That makes my 11.6 with 370rwkw look like shit. Having said that my best 60 foot was over 2 seconds. I suppose that's what happens when you dont want to pop another box! What was your 60 foot and MPH?
  7. Thats interesting with the injectors. I have read that "whatever you think is enough with E85... go the next size up". Next time we go I'll def give you and Marko a yell. Although I would love to do EC. Wakefield espeically with the power that our cars make I find you spend too much time in the lower gears. It did feel great grabbing 4th at 8500 hauling arse down the main straight! With the box. Be careful. I broke mine on the street with not a very hard shift at all. It was only 11,000 kms old. Was not impressed. Now I have a OS box to try and break. Knock on wood that does not happen! Maybe we should all go on the same night and have 3 GTR's getting booted out 1 after another. haha
  8. My cooler has been sitting in my room for months. I am just so damn lazy to put it on. Definately was not me at TC Bro's. I went to wakefield and cracked both my front rotors. My car is up on stands... got its new rotors on but just waiting for pads to arrive to chuck them on. As for the injectors. Cost? Pfft. The GT-R is the biggest money pit ever... Whats a little bit more. I got to (well want to) run a surge tank... but I might stick that under the car. Not too keen on having it in the boot. Yavuz. Yeah his tunes are (well my current one) is rock solid. Never knocks or carry's on. This E85 tune I want to see what she makes. I will be getting a 98 tune done also. The E85 conversion is a bit of a comparison done for a Uni final assignment. So it should be good to get a DIRECT comparison between the 2 fuels on the same dyno, tuner, car. I dare say my exhaust is going to hold me back a tad. At it's smallest point it is 80 mm. We will see what happens. On a side note. I did hear on the radio today that by next month Caltex will have 10 servo's in Sydney with E85. Thats tip top! I knew it was going to be by the end of the year.... but its handy with them being around so soon! Any idea of when the exhaust will be ready? Would love to see it at WSID one night.

  10. Why? I hear this alot. You can't use the Nismo slave without this and that. I have run my twin plate coppermix competition model with a Nismo slave for 4 years and roughly 20,000 kms. Yet to have 1 issue. Food for thought?

  15. How is it all going Steve? Have you got the new exhuast one yet? Mine is going E85. I need to speak to Yavuz in regards to injectors and the power FC. I dont really want to change the ECU but I want to be confident that the FC can handle the massive injectors at idle and what not. 2 bar here we come!

  19. Hey guys. The car in question is a 1997 GTR. To cut a long story short I cracked the front rotors at a recent track day and purchased the "Biot 345 mm front rotor kit". That has been installed with no issues. The problem is that because of the larger rotor's 345 mm the caliper has been pushed further towards the front of the car, the stock solid lines dont sit right nor do they line up with any of the mounting holes. Is there a product to replace these solid lines? What do people do with bigger aftermarket setups? The stock rubber lines have already been replaced with goodridge items. Cheers

  21. Go down to bunnings and grab a handful of cheap (IE $1) 12 mm spanners. Grab a hacksaw and cut them at different lengths. An array of swivel heads and different length bits and bobs. It can be done.... after mega amounts of swearing..... even new swearwords!

  23. Exactly the same as mine. Once hot and on heavy applications they shut up. I also noticed after giving them a good hard run they woldnt "AS" noisy for a few hundred Kms. Its annoying pulling up at a set of lights and people looking at you going "mate, I think your brakes need looking at" haha.
  24. I have these on my R33 GTR. Pretty good... ALOT better then the stock rubbish. I can fit 2 fingers between then tyres and the guards. (19 inch TE's though). No pics though.
  25. haha. Its going to be waaaaaaaaaaaayyy too loud if you do that. Have you ever heard a kakimoto Full Mega N1 on song? I get asked all the time if I have screamer pipes. Its pretty tame up until the gates open... but oh my what a note
