  2. I have them in my car. Tomei 2.8 stroker, GT block running anything up to 1.9 bar through twin RS's revving no more then 8300RPM. 12000 KMS and no issues Although mine are Jun main studs.

  4. Is your twin turbo pipe modified? If it isnt, it might be a worthwhile mod.

  8. Andrew. Are you going to get your balanced here in Australia? (If it is out... Hopefully it isnt). What happens if you get it balanced here and somehow it breaks in half. Will ACPT come to the party seeing that you modified their product? We shouldnt have to get these things balanced. Food for thought
  9. The 05U block that was in my car when the Tomei stroker went in cracked between 3 and 4. I wouldnt trust it to be honest.
  10. Shaft is out. Stock shaft is in. Vibration gone. ACPT is getting their shaft back. For the guys that have sent their back... how did you go about this? Who did you speak to? How much was postage?
  11. This week i'll be refitting my stock shaft to see if this vibration goes away. Part of me hopes it does..... Part of me hopes it doesnt. If it does another long cardboard box will be on ACPT's doorstep. .
  12. From memory the box takes 4.1 litres. Cant hurt to do the transfer case while your at it!
  13. Nah nah 25 consecutive. I have a 19 row cooler mounted infront of the radiator. On the road i dont see the wrong side of 100 (A blast through the twisties somewhere).
  14. OK. Another two cents My situation. Tomei stroker, GT block, RS's running anything up to 1.8 bar on a stock sump and N1 pump. I dont have a head to sump return line and have nver had a problem. I have been on the track and done 25+ laps, oil temps got up to 130 degrees (Motul 15W-50). IF i was to pull the motor out and give it a freshen up (it has only done 11,000 kms on the build) i would put a bigger sump, pump and head return... only because it is out. Make up your own mind... My car is 99% street driven and never run into any problems.
  15. Ok. I'll add my two cents I have just recently gone to a 11.0 Sard fuel rail (which should be the almost the same as your Tomei) with Sard 800 CC injectors. All i did was change the O - Rings to new ones. I didnt cut/modify or change anything else apart from that and everything seems fine! Injectors are also lime green.
  16. Ash, do you know off the top of your head what the results of that test was. I was half thinking about pulling mine off my Nismo's. Are they just there to cause turbulance for the sensor? It wouldnt hurt to get rid of the metal in the AFM's i would think?
  17. A few questions about this My GTR was tuned for V power racing..... Have you since had your GTR retuned for the 1:10 ratio? Do you just premix it in jerry cans?

  19. Seeing that ACPT make the shafts for mines.... I wonder if they have any issues like this? Or was it just that they thought we are a pack of Aussies over the other side of the world and wont give a stuff? On the upside i did notice a bit of response gained

  21. Mate im at Bankstown. Thats not a bad idea. I really want to have this shaft but it need to be fixed up. Ill be keen to meet up and send them both in to get balanced... where ever that is.
  22. I think my shaft is one of those unbalanced shafts! I have a vibration in every gear.... above 70km/h you can really feel it I will be pulling it back out and fitting the stock shaft. Not impressed!
  23. I suppose it depends on the pistons you are using. My specs are Tomei 86.5 NON cooling channel pistons 2 thou clearence GT block Tomei stroker Running anything up to 1.8 Bar on GT-RS's Ring gaps im not 100% sure on so i wont post them up.
