  1. Nah nah 25 consecutive. I have a 19 row cooler mounted infront of the radiator. On the road i dont see the wrong side of 100 (A blast through the twisties somewhere).
  2. OK. Another two cents My situation. Tomei stroker, GT block, RS's running anything up to 1.8 bar on a stock sump and N1 pump. I dont have a head to sump return line and have nver had a problem. I have been on the track and done 25+ laps, oil temps got up to 130 degrees (Motul 15W-50). IF i was to pull the motor out and give it a freshen up (it has only done 11,000 kms on the build) i would put a bigger sump, pump and head return... only because it is out. Make up your own mind... My car is 99% street driven and never run into any problems.
  3. Ok. I'll add my two cents I have just recently gone to a 11.0 Sard fuel rail (which should be the almost the same as your Tomei) with Sard 800 CC injectors. All i did was change the O - Rings to new ones. I didnt cut/modify or change anything else apart from that and everything seems fine! Injectors are also lime green.
  4. Ash, do you know off the top of your head what the results of that test was. I was half thinking about pulling mine off my Nismo's. Are they just there to cause turbulance for the sensor? It wouldnt hurt to get rid of the metal in the AFM's i would think?
  5. A few questions about this My GTR was tuned for V power racing..... Have you since had your GTR retuned for the 1:10 ratio? Do you just premix it in jerry cans?

  7. Seeing that ACPT make the shafts for mines.... I wonder if they have any issues like this? Or was it just that they thought we are a pack of Aussies over the other side of the world and wont give a stuff? On the upside i did notice a bit of response gained

  9. Mate im at Bankstown. Thats not a bad idea. I really want to have this shaft but it need to be fixed up. Ill be keen to meet up and send them both in to get balanced... where ever that is.
  10. I think my shaft is one of those unbalanced shafts! I have a vibration in every gear.... above 70km/h you can really feel it I will be pulling it back out and fitting the stock shaft. Not impressed!
  11. I suppose it depends on the pistons you are using. My specs are Tomei 86.5 NON cooling channel pistons 2 thou clearence GT block Tomei stroker Running anything up to 1.8 Bar on GT-RS's Ring gaps im not 100% sure on so i wont post them up.
  12. Yeah its the Carbon Fibre tail shaft from ACPT. We had a group buy on here last year.
  13. Seeing that our Group Buy thread had been closed I thought i'd start a new thread. I have just driven my car for the first time since installing the shaft. It seems I have a vibration in every gear. I know one of the 13 guys that bought a shaft experienced the same problem., one other smashed his to bits. My question is has any more of you guys driven your cars since installing them? Have you had any problems?
  14. A little update... Adriano i think your on the money with that one. I have just adjusted the linkages and everything has retuned to normal! Why didnt i think of that before!
  15. Hmmm... I had a coolant leak on one of the water lines going around the back of the head. An absolute PRICK to get to.... have a look around there....
  16. OK I didnt touch the throttle linkages. I didnt clean the throttles because i know it causes this problem. I havent touched the AAC valve yet becasue wheni started it, it was almost Midnight.... I dont think the neighbours would appreciate that one. I have the dowels the right way too... I knew about that issue before i started! I have racked my brain over night and i cant think of anything that i have left off... I know its a long short but is there any chance because of the different shape of the stock plenum it would make it idle that high... i dont think it would???
  17. Hey guys I have just installed a Nismo plenum on my GTR. I turned her over last night and she idles at 3000 RPM. No hunting or coughing. According to my wideband it the Air/Fuel ratios are the same as they would be with the stock plenum which would indicate i dont have a leak somewhere. Any ideas? Gaskets are new Tomei metal items.
  18. I'm sure nissan put those turbo's with ceramic turbine wheels to optimise STANDARD performance. No point putting a standard heavier/slower spooling turbo as stock only to pump out the same amount of power.....

  21. Although on a R33 here are a set of toyo T1R's (275/35/18) on r34 GTR rims. Excuse the size but it's a tad easier to see.
  22. De - screened afm's. How much restriction do the screens pose? I have thought in pulling the rear screen off my nismo AFMS. Is it worth it? Would taking both screens off have any effect on how the AFM reads?
